Dubbed as "The Grand Festival of Champions" Aliwan Fiesta is an annual gathering of different cultural festivals of the Philippines. There will be cultural street dancing competition, float parade and the Reyna ng Aliwan beauty pageant. Grand Parade will start at the Quirino Grandstand and will pass through Roxas Boulevard, going to the designated final showdown area in front of Aliw Theater at the CCP Complex, Manila.
Organized by the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC), Aliwan Fiesta 2013 is set on April 11-13, 2013.

APRIL 11 – "PasaKalye", Inter School Dance Competition
APRIL 12 – Reyna ng Aliwan Pageant Night
APRIL 13 – Streetdance and Float Parade & Competition, Reyna ng Aliwan Coronation and Awarding Ceremonies.

It was in 2004 when I first witnessed Aliwan Fiesta and it also happens to be the last. Hahaha!! During the past years I've been wanting join the festivities, unfortunately my schedule didn't permit. Hopefully this year, I'll be able to come. See you there!
