The Panagbenga or Baguio Flower Festival is the annual event held in Baguio City, to celebrate not only the "season of blooming" of flowers but also the booming economy and prosperity of the City of Pines. Held every February, it showcases colorful floats decorated with flowers and street dancing presented by dancers in flower-inspired costumes.
The theme for Panagbenga 2013 is "A Blooming Odyssey" with the highlights happening on February 23 and 24, 2013. Below is a schedule of the main activities:

HOW TO GET TO BAGUIO CITY
From Manila, take a Victory Liner bus bound for Baguio City. Terminals can be found in Pasay, Cubao or Sampaloc. Fare is about 455 pesos and travel time is around 6 hours.
