Airphil Express flies Manila to Basco (Batanes) starting May 2013

Ito na ang katuparan ng pangarap ko! It's been out in the social media that Airphil Express will soon be flying the Manila-Basco (Batanes) Route effective May 2013; with 3 flights a week! Yahoo!!! I'm sure it will be a lot CHEAPER and AFFORDABLE!!! Now that there's already a competition, its time to break the monopoly of small airline companies operating this route.

With this latest development in the local airline industry, I am now deferring my plan of visiting Batanes from April to May 2013. I would be very happy to travel to Batanes with Airphil Express, the leading promo airline carrier to Manila and other great destinations in the country.

This post will be updated as soon as the official announcement from Airphil Express is out! In the meantime, I will continue saving (and will still be accepting contributions) for my Batanes trip soon! :)

UPDATE:
Last February 6, 2013, Airphil Express officially announced their Batanes flights via their FB page.

"Starting May 1, 2013, Airphil Express will fly thrice weekly to Basco, Batanes.

APX flights will depart from Terminal 3 in Pasay City Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 5:15AM, arriving Basco at 7:00AM. Return flights will be on the same days, departing Basco at 7:25AM, arriving Manila at 9:05am."
