Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR) - Tiger Airways launched their Manila-Laoag route with its inaugural flight last April 4, 2013. The flight departed from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 4 in Pasay City using an Airbus 320 which can accommodate up to 180 passengers. Daily flights leaves Manila for Laoag at 1:00 PM, while Laoag to Manila flight departs at 3:00 PM. This increases their flights to 10 destinations around the Philippines.


Together with other members of the media, we were invited to take the inaugural flight which departed NAIA Terminal 4 at exactly 1:00 PM. We arrived Laoag International Airport and was greeted by the local officials and their tourism board.



It was then followed by a press conference at Fort Ilocandia Resort together with other members of the local media.


Laoag is the gateway to some of the most breathtaking sights, awesome tourist destinations as well as historical and cultural sites such as the Bangui Windmills, Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Burgos Lighthouse, Pagudpud and Blue Lagoon Beaches, Paoay Church (a UNESCO Heritage Site), Kabigan Falls, the Sand Dunes in La Paz, among many others.
