HOTELS IN TARLAC: Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham - Luisita, Tarlac

Beautifully located in Hacienda Luisita, Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham is one of the finest hotels in Tarlac City. A member of the international hotel brand of Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham, it is 50-room hotel highlighting a tranquil and peaceful accommodation at the heart of a progressive yet rustic city.

Microtel by Wyndham is an international chain of hotels located in different parts of the world, such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Philippines. It is a member of the Wyndham Hotel Group, a well-known brand in the hotel industry in the Philippines that brings international hotel accommodation standards at reasonable rates.

During our weekend trip in Tarlac City earlier this month, we were given a complimentary overnight stay at Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham - Luisita. As our official hotel partner, it was our base as we discover and experience the adventures in Tarlac, as well as having a taste of its sumptuous food.

Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Since, we already have our reservation, checking-in was a breeze; it only took us about 5 minutes and we were given our electronic access key card and were ushered to our room by their friendly staff.

QUEEN DOUBLE ROOM

We had a well-appointed Queen Double Room (See Room Rates) with an array of essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It has 2 queen-sized chiropractor-approved beds that are not too soft yet very comfortable. I love it! It has fresh clean white sheets, huge fluffy pillows and comforters that perfectly compliments it. They were joined to one side by a tiny bed table with a telephone and a radio-alarm clock.

Other room features include an individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, a cabinet, a television set with cable channels, luggage rack, mirror and a small working desk. It has a huge window on one side where you could have a very nice view of the surroundings. The room is definitely spacious, clean and smells fresh. It features modern and classy interiors with top-notch facilities and amenities. Really awesome!

The toilet and bathroom has hot and cold shower with rain shower feature. It comes with basic toiletries and bathroom amenities as well. Toiletries such as shampoo, soap and dental care were all provided. The body and hand towels are soft and all smell fresh!

SUITE ROOM

While killing some time, I sneaked into my friends' room. Their suite room has 1 chiropractor-approved queen-sized bed, a mini living room and dining area, coffee/tea making facilities, refrigerator, microwave oven, kitchen counter with sink, an air-conditioning unit, a cabinet, a television set with cable channels, a telephone and a small desk.

One of the features of the suite room is the sofa at the living room which can be converted into a bed. It can be used by an extra guest occupying the room.

It is indeed spacious and has all the much-needed amenities. The room is thoughtfully decorated and feels comfortable as it is minimally-designed and well-organized, which I like.

The toilet and bath is also spacious. It has a sink, water closet with bidet, hot and cold shower and a bath tub. Clean, fluffy towels and basic toiletries were also provided.

Truly, every guest will have a relaxing stay here that you'll end up just staying inside the comforts of your room.

WIFI INTERNET CONNECTION

WIFI internet connection is available for a fee. Connection is fast and reliable; but it gets weak when inside the room.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES

Drinks and snacks are not a problem in case you get hungry any time of the day. There's a 24-hour vending area near the lobby where you could grab some snacks. You may also enjoy a cup of free-flowing complimentary coffee at the lobby which is available to guests all-day and all-night.

They also have an in-house restaurant called Liquid Bar which serves an array of Filipino dishes. They are open during lunch and dinner time. Every booking comes with a complimentary buffet breakfast served at the dining area near the lobby.

PUBLISHED RATES

You may check their website at www.microtel-tarlac.com for the updated room rates. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Children 11 and below can stay in the room at no extra cost (without extra bed). Maximum number of children allowed to stay for free depends on the room type booked.
