Go Hotels Otis-Manila is a 118-room essential service hotel strategically located along the stretch of Paz Guazon in Paco, Manila. It is the 6th branch and 2nd in Metro Manila of the Go Hotels essential service hotel chain which is known to be the "first and largest Filipino-owned value hotel chain in the Philippines." This budget hotel in Manila offers simple, cozy and affordable accommodation, ideal for backpackers and budget travelers visiting the city.
Located just beside Robinsons Place Otis, Go Hotels Otis-Manila is easy to locate. The lobby is located at the 5th floor which can be accessed with the very efficient lift.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was quite impressed on how neat and well-designed the lobby is. It is dominated with colors yellow and green, with some minimalist graphic designs on the walls. The cozy interiors, spacious lobby, several comfy seats and adequate lighting made me feel like we were checking-in at a mid-class hotel.
We were hospitably welcomed by the hotel staff and greeted us with a warm smile. Checking-in was fast and efficient; it only took us about 5 minutes and we were given the electronic access key card to our room.
TWIN ROOM
This is my third time to stay at Go Hotels and still, I am impressed with their rooms and the basic amenities they offer. Their plush yet affordable accommodation is evident in the rooms which are clean and have modern furnishings. It is characterized with shades of green, white and yellow which create a relaxing and calming feel. Our room is a twin room which has two single beds with comfortable Windsor mattresses. It is joined to one side by a tiny bed table with a very stylish lamp and a telephone. The beds have the right firmness and is complemented with fresh, clean 100% cotton sheets, comforters and chiropractic high quality non-allergenic pillows that perfectly compliment it.
Other room amenities include individually controlled air-conditioning unit, an LCD TV with cable channels, an in-room safe, hanging rack and a foldable side table. The room is minimally-designed and well-organized, which I like. The room's cozy and uncluttered interiors will certainly give every guest a comfortable and a relaxing sleep.
The toilet and bath is separated from each other, which I also like. It is spacious, clean and well-lit. It has hot and cold shower with excellent water pressure and features a rain shower head. The sink is also separated and is located just outside the toilet and bath. Clean, fluffy bath towels and single-use soap and shampoo were also provided.
If you wish to add more toiletries, it can be bought at the counter for 98.56 pesos per set.
QUEEN ROOM
The queen room (Click here to check discounted rates online) has the same amenities as the twin room, but it has a queen size bed. Maximum of two adults can occupy the room.WIFI INTERNET CONNECTION
Free WIFI internet access is available throughout the hotel. Connection is fast and reliable; it gets a bit weak when inside the room, but it's tolerable.FOOD AND BEVERAGES
As a budget hotel, they don't offer breakfast with every booking. But that won't be a problem as they allow food delivery service in the hotel. You may use the telephone at the lobby and order from various food delivery services with the help of the directory (with menu) at the front desk. How cool is that?!If you want to go out to have a meal, Robinsons Mall is just a stone's throw away. If the mall is already closed, drinks and snacks are not a problem in case you get hungry any time of the day. There's a 24-hour vending area near the lobby where you could grab some snacks.
