Enjoying the beach all to yourself and a few guests? That's what we had when we visited a "not-so-well-known" but beautiful beach resort in Dasol, Pangasinan last weekend. It was a much-needed summer getaway on a secluded beach where we just enjoyed the beach, the sand, the sun, the rock formations; and of course, a dose of good music. What a perfect way to end summer 2015!
To further amp our beach experience, I brought a Bluetooth speaker lent to me for review by KingCom. Let me share to you my experience with the KingCom Beehype Bluetooth Speaker.

The package comes with the speaker unit, a short micro USB cable for charging the unit and a 3.5mm cable for wired audio connectivity.

The KingCom Beehype Bluetooth Speaker is a portable audio accessory designed for the outdoors with its protective rubber casing that has an Ingress Protection of X4 that can withstand rain or water spills. It also has a built-in clip that can be attached to anything, where it fits. A perfect companion for your outdoor activities.
I like that the KingCom Beehype Bluetooth Speaker is quite portable as it is not too heavy; in fact, it could easily fit into my backpack where ever I may go. It may be bigger that other portable speakers, but it's still quite portable.
The control buttons of the speaker are located on one side. It has the power button which takes a long press for 3-seconds to turn the unit On or Off. Above the button are Bluetooth connectivity light indicators that blinks when pairing and stops once paired.
The button also serves as a "Pause" or "Stop" button as well as for answering phone calls. If you're using the speaker with your mobile phone, you don't have to worry about missing a call. The KingCom Beehype allows you to switch between calls and music in an instant with its built-in microphone and phone button. After the call, it will intelligently switch back to your playlist with the tap of the button.
There are also Volume buttons (+/-) which also serves as "Previous" and "Next" track buttons.
On the other side of the speaker is where the micro USB cable slot for charging the device can be found. It also has a 3.5mm aux-in for connection to other analog audio devices or in case you don't want to use the Bluetooth connectivity. The KingCom Beehype also features Near Field Communications (NFC) technology which allows for hassle-free, one-touch pairing.
Charging time takes up from 3-4 hours. With a 2000mAh battery, the speaker could last up to 8-9 hours of continued use.
As for the sound quality, I am totally satisfied with the KingCom Beehype Bluetooth Speaker. Unlike other portable speakers which are only good and audible for indoor use, the KingCom Beehype produces clear and quality sound even in open spaces. It is indeed perfect for the outdoors.
With a price tag of Php 2,280.00, it comes in four colors; such as moss green, pacific blue, neon green and atomic orange! It is available at any KingCom, KingPad and Wellcom stores nationwide.
Overall, I am happy with the performance of the KingCom Beehype Bluetooth Speaker. For the sound quality it produces, its portability and design, it's hard not to give it a thumbs up!
