Special (non-working) Holidays in Metro Manila for the APEC Meeting on November 2015

PNoy declares November 18-19 as holidays in Metro Manila for APEC meet

MalacaƱang Palace declared November 18 and 19, 2015 as special (non-working) holidays in Metro Manila (National Capital Region) in light of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting (AELM) scheduled on those days. Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa made the declaration by authority of President Benigno Aquino III via proclamation No. 1072, s. 2015.

The said APEC Meeting to be held Manila shall be attended by twenty-one (21) world leaders, according to the MalacaƱang Proclamation.

November 18 and 19, 2015 falls on a Wednesday and Thursday. If you're working in Metro Manila, you can take a leave on November 20, 2015 (Friday) and enjoy a 5-day vacation!
