Know the Weather Condition of your Favorite Travel Destinations! Check Out Weather Philippines Mobile App!

As a traveler, it is important for me to be updated in the weather condition before and on the day of my travel. This is important to make sure that I am always ready, safe and prepared in terms of what to bring, how to prepare and be ready if weather condition changes.

So, I am very thankful to Weather Philippines that created the mobile application that could help us determine weather forecast. The Weather Philippines mobile app can provide users with 5 days weather forecast in each place or location. Just make sure that you check the app every 6 hours because they possibly have updated the weather condition and forecast.

The Weather Philippines can provide the weather severity by its color coding matrix. (Green – Normal; Yellow – Weather Watch; Orange – Moderate; Red – Heavy; Violet - Extreme).

I downloaded the app and checked the weather condition in the place I'm visiting.

How to download the mobile apps in Android and IOS mobile?

For IOS, go to Appstore, on the search bar, type in ‘WeatherPhilippines’, and click Install.

For Android mobile, go to Google Playstore, on the search bar, type in ‘WeatherPhilippines’, and click Install.

Weather Philippines was founded in 2012 by Aboitiz Foundation, UnionBank, and Meteogroup to deliver free, more localized, and accurate weather information accessed through weather.com.ph. It provides the country with a premier weather sensing and forecasting system made possible by technology, inclusive partnerships, and communication. As of 2014, WeatherPhilippines has deployed 750 Automated Weather Stations (AWS) nationwide, partnered with more than 568 LGUs and private sector companies and has started its #WeatherWiser Nation campaign. WeatherPhilippines complements government’s nationwide efforts on disaster risk reduction and aims to help build a #WeatherWiserNation that uses weather information for nation-building and sustainable development. The Weather Philippines are still deploying Automated Weather Stations (AWS) nationwide to provide accurate weather condition and forecast.
