NDN Grand Hotel is one of the newest hotels in Sto. Tomas Batangas. Opened in July 2014, the hotel offers 61 spacious rooms and suites catering to the needs of business and leisure travelers visiting the city. Its convenient location, also makes the hotel provides easy access to the must-see destinations and attractions in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
Last week, we were fortunate to have a complimentary overnight stay at NDN Grand Hotel as we visited different towns in Batangas.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and assisted us with our reservation.
Checking-in was fast and efficient. After filling-in the registration card, we were handed our room's key card.
Deluxe Room
Our room is a spacious Deluxe Room with 2 double beds joined together by a small bed table with a lamp and a telephone system.
The beds are coupled with clean white sheets, fluffy pillows and plush comforters. I quickly tried it and felt how comfortable it is.
Our room is also equipped with much needed amenities for a comfortable stay. It has an LCD television set with cable channels, air-conditioning unit, a private veranda, an en suite toilet and bath, cabinet, a full-length mirror, working table and a luggage rack.
Toilet and Bath
As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was impressed! It is also spacious! It has a walk-in shower area with hot & cold super shower, a sink with mirror and a clean water closet with bidet spray.
The toilet and bath is clean, spacious and well-organized. Toiletries such as shampoo with conditioner, bath soap, bath gel and dental care kits were all provided. The hot and cold shower is quite good and has excellent water pressure. Clean towels were also provided.
Private Veranda
On one side of the room is a full length glass window with a sliding door that leads to our own private veranda. This is our favorite part of the room where we spent most of our time just hanging around while enjoying the stunning view of Mt. Makiling.Complimentary Breakfast
Every booking comes with a complimentary buffet breakfast served at their in-house restaurant located at the ground floor. I love how spacious and organized their restaurant is. It has a lot of tables that accommodate guests and non-guests who wish to dine at their restaurant.
During our stay, the buffet is composed of Cereals, Breads, Macaroni Soup, Garlic and Plain Rice, Cheesy Olemette, Sarsiadong Tilapia and Chicken Adobo. All dishes are really good and very flavorful!
For desserts, we had Brazo de Mercedes and Fresh Fruits!
Free flowing brewed coffee and juice are also available.
Though the buffet spread is limited, all the dishes including the desserts really tastes good.
WIFI Internet Connection
Free WIFI internet access is available to all guests. Connection is fast and reliable; it gets a bit weak when inside the room, but it's tolerable. Maybe, it also depends on where your room is located.TIP: If you really need to use the WIFI, go to the swimming pool area where connection is fast and stable.
Swimming Pool
One of the nicest features of NDN Grand Hotel is their lovely outdoor swimming pool. This is the perfect place to chill and have a good swim to burn all those delectable dishes you had for breakfast. Hahaha! It also has lounges, chairs and tables catering to the guests' needs for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Function and Meeting Rooms
NDN Grand Hotel also has several function and meeting rooms ideal for private, corporate and other social events such as meetings, wedding receptions, birthdays, seminars and conventions. Depending on the function room, it could fit up to a maximum of 180 persons.
Fitness Gym
The hotel also has a fitness gym located at the ground floor. It is open to guests who wish to lift some weights or run in the treadmill while checked-in.

Published room rate starts at Php 2,300 for standard room to as much as Php 7,500 for a Family Room that could fit up to 6 persons. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Room occupancy is dependent on the room type.
