Situated amid lush greens and temperate climate, Cintai Corito's Garden is an ideal hideaway for couples, families and group of friends wanting to experience a unique vacation in Batangas. It's a perfect place if you want to relax unwind, and take a breather from your daily life.
Cintai (pronounced "chin-tai") is an Indonesian word which means "love." I am happy that we were able to experience a one-of-a-kind resort in Balete, Batangas that truly exudes the great love of a man to his wife and children to their mother.
Last month, we had an awesome overnight stay at Cintai Corito's Garden, a much-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Let me share to you our memorable experience.
Upon arrival at the resort, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely hotel staff and greeted us with a genuine smile. She then assisted us with checking-in. Since we already have reservation, checking-in was a breeze. It only took us about 5 minutes and we were given the key to our room.
Deluxe Villa
We were then assisted by one of their staff to our Deluxe Villa. While on our way to our villa, I felt like I was transported to a place that is not in the Philippines. From this moment, I knew that we are up for an awesome and relaxing stay.
Upon entering our spacious villa, I was totally impressed! It is really awesome in terms of design and details. The well-thought decorative details and functionality guarantee the guests with a stimulating and unique Balinese experience in the Philippines, like no other.
It has 2 queen-sized beds coupled with clean white sheets, plush comforters and fluffy down pillows. I quickly tried one of the beds and it's really awesomely comfy!
The room is very clean and well-maintained. It is minimally-designed with Indonesian wood carvings, Bali-inspired cabinet, paintings and statues. I like that it doesn't have too much clutter and only the essentials are inside the room. Perfect for a peaceful stay.
It doesn't have a television set and WIFI internet connection, which is a nice way to disconnect from all the stresses of life and just enjoy nature at its best.
Other room amenities include a personal refrigerator filled with complimentary bottled water, a cabinet, a luxurious en suite toilet and bath and a long wooden seat by the window.
As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was amazed with its size. It is very spacious, well-lit and very clean. It has an intricately-designed sink with huge mirror, a clean water closet with bidet spray and a spacious walk-in shower area with hot and cold shower.
Clean and soft bath towels and quality toiletries such as shampoo with conditioner, bath soaps and body lotion were also provided. What else can I ask for? Everything we need are here.
Our villa also has a spacious garden terrace with a sofa. This is were we spent most of our time just lounging and enjoying the peaceful and serene environment while enjoying the cool breeze of the air.
Since it was raining hard when we arrived, we just decided to stay inside our room to rest and take a nap.
Abadi Restaurant
At round 4:00 PM, the rain subsided. So, we went to Abadi Restaurant to have some snacks. Abadi is Cintai's in-house restaurant offering delicious Filipino and international cuisines.
Abadi Restaurant is so beautiful! I love the restaurant's creatively crafted wood design ceiling, colorful Indonesian chandelier and its different Indonesian-inspired decors and art pieces.
It also has outdoor dining areas where one could relish good food while enjoying the cool breeze of the air and the stunning view of the surroundings.
We savored on freshly-made Balete Suman dipped in Tsokolate for our afternoon snacks. Yummmm!!!
There's a very inviting view of the expansive property from the restaurant's outdoor dining area. We wanted to roam around to see the whole property but the whole place is still wet due to the heavy rain that afternoon. So, after indulging on our delicious afternoon snacks, we just decided to go back to our villa and rest again.
Dinner at Abadi Restaurant
We went back to Abadi Restaurant at around 7:30 PM for dinner. We had Summer Vegetables, Pinaputok na Tilapia and Slow Roasted Pork Sinigang. The serving is really generous and they all taste good! My favorite is the Sinigang which is perfect for the cold weather.

We ended our very filling and satisfying dinner with a delectable serving of Chocolate Panna Cotta.
The Spa
Cintai Corito's Garden also has a lovely outdoor spa offering massage and other spa services to the delight of its guests. We got to try the massage offered by their well-trained therapists. It's very relaxing! A perfect way to end our day!
Complimentary Breakfast
The following morning, we woke up early so we could fully maximize our stay. I am just so happy to be greeted with a sunny day! Yey!!!
Waking up refreshed and relaxed, the first thing we did is to go to the restaurant and have our complimentary breakfast. We had Egg Drop Soup and a delightful ensemble of Longganisa with fried rice, pickled cucumber and scrambled eggs.

We quickly finished our breakfast and prepared to tour around the place. We're just so excited!
Accommodations at Cintai
Cintai Corito's Garden has 18 villas, each uniquely designed, available for rent. They are categorized into Deluxe Villa, Terrace Villa, Garden Villa and Executive Villa.
Deluxe Villa

The grandest among all the villas, the Executive Villa also has 3 queen-size beds (2 regular ones and a poster bed), a day bed with table setting, a personal bar refrigerator, a bathroom, outdoor jacuzzi, bar, terrace and a pocket garden. You may also have your meals served straight to your terrace so you can dine al fresco and enjoy nature. It also has a separate toilet and bath outside the villa exclusive for the guests' use.Rate per night: Php 27,500.00

Amenities and Facilities
Aside from the Villas, one of the things I love most about Cintai's Coritos Garden is its wide array of amenities and facilities.
Swimming Pools
Guests can also enjoy the use of 4 swimming pools of different sizes during their stay.
Pavilions and Function Halls
They also have several pavilions and function halls that cater to special events such as weddings, debuts, reunions, birthdays or corporate parties. Depending on the function hall, one could accommodate up to 200 pax at a single event.
TV Room and Elephant Bar
If you really want to watch TV, you may go to the TV room or at the Elephant Bar which offers a good selection of movies and an array of local and international TV channels. This is also a nice place to lounge with your family, friends or your better half.
The Spa
The Spa is an outdoor spa located by the swimming pool offering therapeutic massage from their well-trained therapists.
Free-roaming Animals
One of the unique features I love at Cintai are the free-roaming animals such as peacock, bantam chicken, geese and llama. I just love seeing these animals walking around. They are somehow greeting and welcoming the guests. Animal lovers and the kids will surely adore these unique animals.

Other resort amenities include Gazebo with Garden, Garden Area and Bar Overlooking the Pool, Shower Area and Changing Room, Cabanas and Trellises, Kid’s Playground and a lot more! You'll certainly not get bored when staying at Cintai!
Lunch at Abadi's Restaurant
Before checking-out, we had sumptuous meals again at Abadi Restaurant. This time, we had Chicken Tinola, Grilled Mackerel, Sweet and Spicy Canton and Chicken Satay with oh so yummy peanut sauce. Abadi Restaurant didn't disappoint. All the dishes they served us were truly mouthwatering and delicious!

Guess what, they have Durian trees within the property. So, if it's durian season, you could request for it. Like what we did!

Overall, we had a pleasant and peaceful overnight stay at Cintai Corito's Garden. It is definitely an excellent choice for a much needed break away from the city.
The resort's Bali-inspired architecture, delicious food, intricate and elegantly-designed villas will certainly take every guest into a "one of a kind" and relaxing resort accommodation experience. The staff are all polite, attentive, helpful and will surely make your stay hassle-free. Everyone greets you with a sweet smile all the time. I believe that aside from the resort's amenities, the main plus point of Cintai Coritos Garden are the staff who provide genuine, personalized service.
