Henann Resort Bohol in Alona Beach Panglao Island
Certainly, there is no stopping Henann Group of Resorts in offering the best and most luxurious beach resorts in the country. Last August, we were invited to join in the celebration as they finally open Henann Resort Bohol, (Check rates online) located along Alona Beach in the island paradise of Panglao in Bohol.
Set in a lush 6.5 hectare property along Alona Beach which is famous for its one and half kilometer tropical paradise with pristine, white sand beach overlooking rocky cliffs, Henann Resort Alona Beach Resort (resort in Panglao, Bohol. The resort boasts of the widest beachfront in Alona beach, more than 400 luxurious guest rooms, 3 huge swimming pools and the biggest convention center in the province.
The resort features a wide array of resort accommodations ranging from deluxe, premier and suites to family, premiere with direct pool access, presidential and pool villas.

Premier Room
During our stay, we were checked-in in a Premier Room located at the main building of the resort. Upon entering our room, I was totally impressed when I saw how spacious and lovely our room is.
It has all the amenities needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It is very spacious at around 40 sq. meters that could fit 2-3 persons. It smells fresh and clean with top-notch amenities designed for business and leisure travelers.
It is modern and professionally-designed with blends of luxurious decors featuring a full-length glass window with sliding doors leading to a private balcony with dinette set and overlooking the expansive swimming pool. I certainly love it!
Our room has one queen and one single-size bed perfectly complemented with clean white sheets, 300-thread count duvets and very soft and super fluffy pillows that make a goodnight sleep.
Other room amenities include an individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, a luxurious en suite toilet and bath, a small dining area, 40-inch flat-screen television with cable channels, luggage rack, cabinet with safety deposit box and hanging area, a telephone (with IDD and NDD access) inside the room and in the bathroom, a personal refrigerator with complimentary drinking water replenished daily and a coffee and tea making facility with complimentary coffee.
And oh, there's also a welcome platter with fresh fruits which we loved so much!
Toilet and Bath
As I sneaked into the luxurious toilet and bath, I was at awe when I saw how clean and spacious it is. It is a lavishly designed marble-clad bathroom featuring a separate bathtub and a shower area with rain shower feature and hot and cold shower. There's also a marble top lavatory with huge mirrors, clean and sanitized water closet with bidet spray, clothes and towel hanging area, hair dryer and all the toiletries were provided. This is really awesome!
I loved the high-quality toiletries which include bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath foam, body lotion, shaving kit, vanity and dental care kits. Fresh and soft body and hand towels were also provided. What else can I ask for? Everything we need are here! It's so impressive!
Resort Pool Villas
For a more exclusive setting, the resort also offers Resort Pool Villas that uses cogon straw roofing to give it an beautiful island feel. Each villa has its own private plunge pool and veranda that guests can truly enjoy.
F&B Services
Henann Resort Bohol also features several dining options such as the Sea Breeze Beach Club, Coral Cafe, Lobby Lounge, Pool Bar and Christina's Restaurant (Opening Soon!) which offer the widest spread of delectable Asian, Western and Filipino cuisines on Panglao Island.
Swimming Pools
Henann Resort Alona Beach Bohol has the most number of swimming pools in the island, a total of three crystalline pools with its own bar that deliver a more unique and personalized beach experience. Lounge by their huge pool area flanked by towering coconut trees by the beachfront, or you may choose to swim at the middle pool which is overlooking the beach or perhaps at the main pool just a few steps away from the guest rooms. Sun lounges, daybeds, chairs and tables are also scattered around the pool for the guests to enjoy. With these options, you'll certainly have the best Bohol beach resort experience.
Other Resort Amenities and Facilities
The resort offers numerous on-site facilities to satisfy even the most discerning guest. Enjoy other resort amenities such as Gym and Fitness Center, Spa, Function Rooms and Convention Center, Mini Shop and Business Center.
Internet Connection
Complimentary WiFi internet connection is available anywhere in the resort. Though it gets a bit weak when inside our room (or maybe it depends on your room's location), connection is fast and stable. For someone who needs to be online, this is really an awesome treat!

Overall, we had an awesome stay at Henann Resort Alona Beach Bohol. I can confidently say that it is one of the "best beach resorts in Bohol" and an excellent choice when staying in Panglao Island.
The resort's world-class amenities and facilities, highly-commendable staff and wide array of top-notch amenities and facilities will certainly take every guest into a memorable and relaxing resort accommodation experience. I'm giving it my 2 thumbs up!
