CHEAP EATS: Where to Eat in Boracay for Less than 100 pesos? (PART 1)

Many people would think that traveling to Boracay is expensive. That is not always true. If you're a budget traveler and looking for ways to save on travel expenses, you can cut down on food cost. It's not that I'm suggesting that you starve yourself, skip meals or just eat street foods, the best thing to do is to find places that serve decent food at very affordable price.

There are many restaurants in Boracay where you could eat meals for 100 pesos or less. This compilation lists down restaurants or food stalls that I have personally tried where you could dine to save on food expense when traveling to Boracay.

Here are some of my suggested restaurants and food stalls in Boracay where you could eat for 100 pesos or less.

928 Cafe and Grill

This restaurant is located at the beachfront along station 2. They serve breakfast meals for 95.00 pesos, lunch and dinner meals also for 95.00 pesos, rice toppings for 65.00 pesos and snacks for 65.00 and 85.00 pesos.

We got to try their Bicol Express and Pork Liempo for 95.00 pesos each.

Mc Donald's Boracay

This famous fast food chain has 2 branches on Boracay island. One along the main road near D Mall and the other one is near Henann Regency Resort and Spa. Prices are a bit expensive than the usual, but you could still get a decent meal for less than 100 pesos.

Andok's Restaurant

Located inside D' Mall, Andok's is a favorite among local and foreign tourists visiting Boracay. They have a wide array of meals at very affordable prices. We got to try their Porkchop with rice for 67.00 pesos and Longanisa Meal for 76.00 pesos only.

Leylam Shawarma

Located at the beachfront along station 2 (Up Town Boracay), they have Shawarma Rice Meal for only 70.00 pesos. Just add 10.00 pesos for extra fried egg and you're set for a satisfying Shawarma Rice meal by the beach!

Big Mouth

Also located inside D Mall, just beside Andok's, Big Mouth serves an Omelette Meal for only 90.00 pesos. This is perfect for breakfast on a budget in Boracay.

Kolai Mangyan

This restaurant is a new favorite among locals and tourists. The restaurant is always full especially during lunch and dinner time. They serve meals for as low as 50.00 pesos. They have all-day breakfast meals for 50.00-80.00 pesos per meal, Bulasing and Budbud meals for 55.00 - 82.00 pesos per meal, Sizzling Meals for 65.00 - 70.00 pesos per meal, Pasta meals for for as low as 60.00 pesos, Group meals and Combo Meals for as low as 90.00 pesos.

We got to try their Budbud All-mix for 65.00 pesos and Sizzling Garlic Chicken for 70.00 pesos.

Hoy Panga!

This beautiful restaurant along the main road is located between D Mall and Agos Boracay. They offer daily "Street Breakfast" for as low as 35.00 pesos.

The restaurant is so lovely, you won't think that they offer meals for budget-concious travelers.

Get a bowl of hot Champorado for 35.00 pesos or hot Arozz Caldo for 45.00 pesos. They also serve BBQ for 100.00 pesos which is composed of 5 sticks. Just add 2 cups of rice for 25 pesos each. Share it with a friend and it will only cost you 75 pesos each! Affordable right?!
