Not everyone gets the chance to visit Hong Kong to have a taste of authentic Cantonese flavors. I, myself, haven't been to Hong Kong. So when we were invited to have dinner at Lung Hin Restaurant at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila (Click here to check rates online), I got really really excited because I know how good their dishes are. This is actually my second visit at Lung Hin, the first time was when they invited me few weeks ago to have a taste of their new menu offerings carefully crafted by their new Chinese Executive Chef Ken Leung.
Located at the hotel's 44th floor, Lung Hin boasts of contemporary Chinese flare offering traditional and authentic Cantonese food and fresh seafood specially made by their very own Hong Kong chefs. More to that, the restaurant's location overlooking the city also offers a stunning view of the Ortigas skyline, making it an awesome place to dine while watching the breathtaking view of the sunset or the sparkling city lights at night. During our recent overnight stay at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila (Click here to check rates online), we had a very satisfying and memorable dining experience at Lung Hin Restaurant where we were treated with some of their most popular and best-selling house specialties.

Here are the dishes we got to try:
Steamed Pork Siomai with Truffle Sauce
As starters, we got to try their Steamed Pork Siomai with Truffle Sauce (Php 220.00 - 4 pieces/serving) which is probably the best Siomai I've ever tasted. Yummmm!!!Baked Pork Barbeque Buns
It was then followed by their Baked Pork Barbeque Buns which come in 3 pieces per serving (Php 220.00). I love that the bun is perfectly baked, has light and crisp breading and filled with luscious and generous amount of pork. For me it's better than Tim Ho Wan and the other pork buns I've tasted before.Hot and Sour Seafood Soup
Lastly, we had the Hot and Sour Seafood Soup (Php 330.00 / Php 1,280) which we also enjoyed as it is so good and very comforting - the way a hot cup of soup should be.Three Flavored Prawns
For the mains, we had the Three Flavored Prawns (Php 1,680.00). These fresh succulent tiger prawns coated in their specialty sauces such as Salted Egg, Blueberry and Sakura is definitely a must-try! My favorite is the salted egg, followed by sakura and lastly, the blueberry which tastes a bit weird.Deep-fried Boneless Chicken with Sliced Almond in Lemon Sauce
We also got to try their Deep-fried Boneless Chicken with Sliced Almond in Lemon Sauce (Php 880.00) which is also quite good. I am not a fan of chicken dishes with lemon but I enjoyed this one especially the texture that the almonds give to the whole dish.Yang Chow Fried Rice
We paired the main dishes with their version of Yang Chow Fried Rice (Php 480.00) which has generous amount shrimps, chorizo and lots of egg. Yummmm!Mango and Kiwi Smoothie
For drinks, we had their specialty drink called Mango and Kiwi Smoothie which has a very interesting taste! The combination is very refreshing!Chilled Mango Sago and Avocado Sago
To cap off our delightful dinner, we had a serving of their Chilled Mango Sago with Coconut Milk (Php 195.00) and Chilled Avocado Sago (Php 250.00). I love avocado, so, the latter is definitely my favorite! We truly had a delightful and quite satisfying dinner at Lung Hin Restaurant. If you're looking for a Chinese Restaurant serving authentic Cantonese flavors, check out Lung Hin at Marco Polo Ortigas. It is an awesome place to celebrate any special occasion or to date your special someone.
