As a basic accessory to any action camera, a pole is needed to capture those precious travel moments and adventure shots whether on land, up in the air or underwater. Just recently, PovGear sent over their Carbon Mini Pole for me to test. I brought it on my trip to Bohol last month, and I really loved it.

Just don't forget that the pole's camera head is removable. One important reminder when using the PovGear Carbon Mini Pole is you should secure it first before using underwater or up in the air, or else you might end up losing your action camera. To make it permanent, you may use a waterproof glue or a Loctite Thread locker. You may also use a Teflon tape (plumber tape) which will allow you to secure the camera head and be able to remove the mount with ease when needed.
