Did you know that you could survive a trip in Boracay for less than 100 pesos per meal? If you're a budget traveler and looking for ways to save on travel expenses, you can cut down on food cost. It's not that I'm suggesting that you starve yourself, skip meals or just eat street foods, the best thing to do is to find places that serve decent food at very affordable price.

There are many restaurants in Boracay where you could eat meals for 100 pesos or less. This compilation lists down restaurants or food stalls that I have personally tried where you could dine to save on food expense when traveling to Boracay.
Here are some of my suggested restaurants and food stalls in Boracay where you could eat for 100 pesos or less.
Dapogan Cafe
Located along Tourist Center road (Station 2), Dapogan Cafe is a small eatery serving affordable and budget-friendly meals. Ideal for lunch and dinner, their meals cost as low as 45.00 pesos for 1 viand and a cup of rice. They also serve all-day Filipino breakfast. We got to try their Pork Sisig and Fish Sinigang for around 70 pesos per meal. It's quite good! Lutong bahay quality.
Here's a copy of their menu:
Mang Inasal
This famous fast food chain has 2 branches on Boracay island. One is in D' Mall and the other one is inside D' Talipapa near the main road. Prices are around 5-10% higher than the usual, but you could still get a decent meal for less than 100 pesos.Kubo Bar and Grill
Kubo Bar and Grill is a restaurant by day and a bar at night. Located along Bulabog Road (about 10 meters away from the main road), just across Second Wind Hostel, they offer a wide array of dishes from their menu.We got to try their Grilled Liempo and Grilled Chicken for PHP 65.00 pesos each. If you add a cup of rice for 15.00 pesos each, you'll only spend 80 pesos per meal. And if you're staying at Second Wind Hostel, you can get 15% discount on food and drinks when you dine at Kubo Bar and Grill.
Tilapia N' Chips
Definitely one of my favorite cheap eats in Boracay. Tilapia 'N Chips is quite intimidating when you see it from outside. But guess what?! They offer set meals for only PHP 99.00 pesos! This special set meal are (1) Beer Battered Dory (with rice and ice tea) and (2) Breaded Fried Chicken (with rice and ice tea), both for an affordable price of 99 pesos. We got to try their Beer Battered Dory and it is so good! If you're on tight budget and want to eat great-tasting food, you better check out Tilapia N' Chips.
Tilapia N' Chips is located next to Crafts Department Store near Talipapa and D' Mall. They also offer Free Delivery in Boracay. Just call 288-2283 / 0906-227-5364 (Globe) / 0928-860-3056 (Smart).
Merly's BBQ
For snacks, a must-try is Boracay's famous Chori Burger. It is a burger with Chorizo as patties sandwiched in toasted buns and poured with your choice of sweet and spicy sauce. There are many street food kiosks selling this in Boracay. But one of the best on the island is Merly's BBQ which is known as the pioneer and "home of the original Chori Burger on Boracay Island." It has been operating their burger stand on the island since 1988 and has been known to tourists through the years. For only around 50 pesos, busog ka na! Hehehe!
So, there you have it! My most-recommended restaurants and places where to eat in Boracay if you're on budget. With this, you can still enjoy dining in Boracay without emptying your pockets!
