Mount Sea Resort in Rosario Cavite is one of the best resorts in Cavite I've been to. As one of the highly-regarded hotel and resorts in Cavite, it offers its guests with well-appointed and newly renovated guestrooms, wide array of amazing amenities and facilities as well as delectable food offerings that will surely reward every guest with luxe retreat and a one-of-a-kind resort experience.
Mount Sea Resort's in-house restaurant is located near the swimming pool. The Dining Room is a casual dining restaurant that serves an array of Filipino and international dishes that will surely be a delight to every guest. During our stay, we were treated with some of their finest and best-selling dishes.
Here are the dishes we got to try:
Birds Nest with Quail Egg Soup (PHP 85.00 / 220.00)
A classic Chinese soup dish made from edible birds nest. Served very hot, the soup has a gelatinous texture and I love that it has quail eggs. I guess, even the simplest and plainest-looking soup would definitely perked up with the addition of quail eggs. Yummmm!Eight Treasure Soup (PHP 110.00 / 280.00)
A vegetarian soup made from a delicious combination of 8 nutritious vegetables. Known to be prepared and served by Chinese people during special and auspicious occasions, this soup is a must-try at The Dining Room in Mount Sea ResortFried Chicken Special (PHP 285.00)
The Dining Room's house specialty of marinated chicken in a special marinade; it was deep fried until perfectly crispy and served with their special gravy sauce. The chicken is very tasty and flavorful. Definitely one of the best fried chickens I’ve tried.Kangkong with Garlic (PHP 180.00)
A delicious and perfectly cooked swamp cabbage (kangkong) topped with toasted garlic. Very aromatic, it goes well with the fried chicken. I loved that the kangkong was cooked just right and not overcooked. That’s how vegetables should be done.Crispy Pata (PHP 290.00 / 520.00)
Very tender pork leg and deep-fried to a perfect crisp served with their special spicy soy and vinegar sauce and atchara. You can order half serving for 290.00 pesos which is good for 2-3 persons and whole serving for 520.00 pesos that would be enough for 5 persons.Sinigang na Hipon
Fresh shrimps in tasty broth soup. I love that the shrimps used are really fresh, it has the right sour taste and the juicy prawns are tender and very flavorful.Katsudon (PHP 280.00)
If you're looking for rice topping meals, you may also try one of the rice topping dishes on their menu. We got to try their Katsudon, a delightful bowl of rice topped with a tender deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, vegetables, and condiments. Of all the dishes we got to try, this is one of my favorites.Yang Chow (PHP 150.00)
We paired the main dishes with their version of Yang Chow Fried Rice which has generous amount shrimps, chorizo and lots of egg. Yummmm!Delectable Desserts
To cap off our delightful dining experience at The Dining Room of Mount Sea Resort, we had a serving of their yummy Caramel Custard (PHP 65.00) and Banana Split (PHP 220.00).Refreshing Drinks
For drinks, we had their shake of the day called Grape Fantasy (PHP 90.00), Fresh Watermelon and Mango Shakes (PHP 95.00 each) and Hot Calamansi Juice (PHP 80.00).We truly had a delightful and quite satisfying dining experience at The Dining Room of Mount Sea Resort. The place is nice and has a very homey and relaxing ambiance. The staff are polite, pleasant and very friendly. For the quality of food and serving size, their prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!
