HOTEL REVIEW: Jinjiang Inn Ortigas, "Value-for-money Business Boutique Hotel in Pasig City"

Jinjiang Inn is a franchised hotel brand from the largest hospitality conglomerate in China, Jin Jiang Hotels. The first Jinjiang Inn hotel brand managed by Hotel 101 group was opened in Ortigas Center in September 2015. Conveniently located along San Miguel Avenue in the heart of Ortigas Business District, Jinjiang Inn Ortigas offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations for travelers whether on leisure or business travels. The hotel offers on-site features such as stable and reliable free Wi-Fi connection in all rooms, 24-hour front desk, facilities for disabled guests, luggage storage, restaurant, conference room and free use of computers with internet connection in the lobby.

Just recently, we had an awesome 2-night stay at Jinjiang Inn Ortigas. This 3-star full-service hotel offers 95 spacious and well-appointed guest rooms ideal for business and leisure travelers visiting Metro Manila. The hotel is accessible either for those who plan to commute or bring a car. Parking is not a problem as they have several parking slots available for checked-in guests' convenience.

Upon entering the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and assisted us with our bags. I loved that their staff were all smiling and will instantly make you feel the warm welcome as if you are in your own home. The hotel lobby is well-lit, neat and organized with a lot of sitting areas for guests to lounge while waiting for check-in or check-out.

We then proceeded to the reception area where we were hospitably welcomed by the hotel staff and greeted us with warm smiles. Checking-in was fast and efficient. The hotel receptionist immediately assisted us with our booking and gave us all the details we should know. The service was fast and it only took us about 5 minutes and we were handed the electronic access key cards to our room.

Business Room

We were then assisted to our room by their friendly staff. Our room is an impressive Business Room designed for business and leisure travelers. Fitted with wood flooring and furnishings, the room is spacious and features modern and classy interiors with top-notch amenities and facilities needed for a comfortable stay.

The room is characterized with shades of white and earth tones which create a relaxing and calming ambiance. It is highlighted with a queen-size bed with 5-star hotel-quality mattress coupled with clean white sheets, fluffy pillows and thick comforter.

Other room amenities include an en suite toilet and bath, individually-controlled and silent air-conditioning unit, a 46-inch high-definition LCD TV with cable channels, NDD/IDD telephone, fast WIFI internet access, a cabinet, safety deposit box, spacious work desk, radio alarm clock, a personal refrigerator, a mini-bar with complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea making equipment.

As I cheeked on the toilet and bath, I was impressed! It has a spacious sink with mirror, a clean water closet with bidet spray and a separate shower area with hot and cold shower. It is also complete with quality toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, lotion and dental care and vanity kits. Bathroom amenities such as a hair dryer, bathrobe and clean hand and body towels were also provided.


I couldn't ask for more. For me, it is important to have a bathroom that is clean and well-organized. Jinjiang Inn Ortigas did not disappoint; from the sink, to the water closet, to the shower area, they are all clean.


What I loved most about our room is the view from the inside. There's a huge glass window in our room where you could see the towering buildings of Ortigas Center.

F&B Service

Jinjiang Inn Ortigas has a restaurant at the ground floor called Five Spice Asian Bistro serving complimentary breakfast and ala carte meals. You can also order meals which can be delivered in the privacy of your room, any time of the day.

The buffet breakfast that comes with every booking at the hotel is served at Five Spice Asian Bistro from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The buffet table has limited but carefully selected dishes.

There are different meat, fish, chicken and vegetables dishes to choose from. There's also a variety of pastries and fresh fruits for desserts. The dishes change everyday, so even if you're staying for more than 1 night (just like us), you won't get bored with their buffet breakfast because there's always something new to look forward to each day.

WIFI Internet Connection

For someone who needs to be always connected to the internet, the complimentary WIFI internet access they provide is fast and reliable. I love it because I could still browse the internet or update my social media account as I stay connected anywhere in the hotel. There are also state-of-the-art computers at the lobby that is free for guests to use to access the internet any time of the day.
