TAGAYTAY HOTELS: One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites
As one of the top tourist destinations near Metro Manila, Tagaytay City has many hotels and bed & breakfast accommodations that cater to the needs of visiting tourists whether on business or leisure travels. Be it a luxury hotel, a condo unit for rent, a mid-range/budget hotel or a backpacker's hostel, you'll definitely find a hotel in Tagaytay City that will certainly suit your needs and preferences for a memorable Tagaytay holiday.
Just recently, we stayed at One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites, an ideal hotel in Tagaytay for your next family holiday, barkada staycation or for a romantic getaway with your special someone.
Upon entering the hotel, we were hospitably welcomed by the hotel staff and greeted us with a warm smile. I instantly loved their lobby as it is spacious, well-lit and has a lot of couches where guests could lounge while waiting to check-in or check-out.
We then proceeded to the reception area where we were welcomed by the front desk staff and assisted us in checking-in. Since we already have prior reservation, we just gave our names and we were asked for our identification cards and to fill out a registration form. Checking-in was fast and efficient; it only took us about 5 minutes and we were given our room's electronic access key cards. After that, we were ushered to our room by their friendly staff who also assisted us with our bags.
One Bedroom Suite
Our room is a One-bedroom Suite (Check room rates online) located at the 6th floor. It is spacious and features modern interiors with all the much-needed facilities and amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the chilly Tagaytay.
It has a receiving area with a comfy sofa, a small dining area, a mini private veranda, a television set, airconditioning unit coffee and tea making equipment, and a refrigerator with complimentary bottled water. A basket full of fruits were also there as welcome treats. Yey!
As I checked on the bedroom, it is also equipped with essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It has one queen-size bed coupled with clean white sheet, fluffy pillows and hotel-quality comforter.
There's also an air-conditioning unit, television set with cable channels, a cabinet, telephone, vanity dresser with mirror, and a breakfast nook.
The toilet and bath is a bit small but well-kept. It is complete with toiletries such as shampoo, bath soap, lotion, as well as vanity and dental care kits. Clean and soft hand and bath towels were also provided.
WIFI Internet Connection
Every booking comes with free internet access to the hotel's WiFi service. Connection is quite good but it gets weak when inside our room. But it's okay, I still get to update my social media accounts and browse the internet using 3G signal which has good reception in the area.
Complimentary Breakfast
Every booking comes with a complimentary breakfast served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. On our first day, we had buffet breakfast at the hotel's ballroom. Maybe because it's a weekend, that is why breakfast is buffet and served in a bigger venue.
On our second day, we had our breakfast at Amacena Restaurant, the hotel's in-house all-day dining restaurant located at the ground floor. This time, breakfast is ala carte where you choose from their menu of set breakfast meals. We had daing and tocino, both served with rice, eggs, coffee, and fresh fruits. Yummmmm!

When staying at any hotels in Tagaytay, savoring on good food is a must. One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites has one of the best restaurants in Tagaytay.
Amacena by Chef Luigi Muchlach serves an array of delectable comfort food and fusion dishes. The dishes they offer are a bit pricey, but they are really good and the serving is good for sharing.
Amacena is a lovely restaurant that features chic and contemporary space, chill ambiance and relaxing interiors. It can accommodate up to 40 guests, with a lovely private room for 10 people ideal for corporate meetings and intimate family gatherings.
The restaurant is open daily for guests and non-guests, serving Chef Luigi Muchlach's own take on familiar Pinoy comfort food. From breakfast up to dinner and in-room dining service, we were treated with Amacena's sumptuous dishes. Here are the dishes we got to try:

If you're too lazy to go out of your room, you may also avail of the hotel's in-room dining service. For dinner on our last night at One Tagaytay Place, we ordered Amacena's yummy Tawilis Pizza and Double Bacon Carbonarra.

An exciting array of amenities await every guest at One Tagaytay Place. Located at the 4th floor is the fitness gym that is free to use for guests, ballroom and function rooms, spa, and the lovely infinity swimming pool located at the hotel's penthouse. Secured parking space and valet parking service are also available for checked-in guests. With all these superb amenities, guests will truly have an awesome stay at One Tagaytay Place!
