RESORTS IN PANGLAO BOHOL: The Bellevue Resort Bohol

With summer just around the corner, everyone (including me!) are in search for exciting beach holidays to finally make their dream vacation a reality. How about a holiday in Bohol? It is such a nice place to discover and just the thought of staying in one of the best resorts on Panglao Island makes me more excited. Luckily, I was invited for a luxurious BOHOLiday at The Bellevue Resort Bohol – a luxurious 5-star resort-hotel that is located on the calm and serene shorelines of Doljo Beach on Panglao Island. Yey!

As we entered the resort, I was at awe with its stunning interiors, boosted by its stylish furniture and fixtures. There were nice accents all over the walls which adds more beauty and elegance to the resort. As they brand themselves as a luxury resort-hotel, the lobby feels extravagant and I must admit, I was impressed!

We were warmly welcomed by the resort staff and assisted us with our booking. They were all genuinely hospitable which makes us feel welcomed and loved.

Superior Twin Room

I immediately felt excited for our room and voila! It never failed my expectations of what a luxury resort should be. The room was superb and furnished with a touch comfort. It was equipped with all the essential amenities that I can think of. (Click here to check room rates and room availability)

Our room is a spacious Superior Twin Room which features modern and classy interiors with top-notch facilities and amenities. It has 2 queen-sized beds with mattresses that are soft and very comfortable. The beds are joined to one side by a small bed table with a telephone and a radio alarm clock; it has fresh clean white sheets, huge fluffy pillows and comforters that compliment it so well. I tried it right away and I felt like I was melting into the bed as I lay my back on it. Very comfortable!

Other room amenities include an individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, an en suite toilet and bath with luxurious bathroom fixtures and amenities, a huge LCD TV with cable channels, a closet, an in-room safety deposit box, luggage rack, mirrors, a spacious work desk, a small sitting area, and a mini bar with complimentary bottled water and coffee & making equipment. Complimentary WIFI connectivity is also available anywhere in the resort as well as inside the room.

It also features a full-length glass window with a door leading to a private veranda with outdoor dinette set. I went to the private veranda to check what's in there. It is also spacious and has a lovely view of the resort and the beach! This is where we spent most of the time just enjoying the awesome view and the cool breeze coming from the outside. We certainly love it!

As I checked on the toilet and bath, I was at awe when I saw how clean and spacious it is. Whoa! The bathroom is big enough and has a clean water closet with bidet spray, a bath tub, a spacious sink, and an enclosed shower area with hot and cold shower feature.

I also loved the high-quality toiletries which include bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, body lotion, shaving kit, vanity and dental care kits. Fresh and soft body and hand towels were also provided. What else can I ask for? It's so impressive!

Dining

The Bellevue Resort has several dining outlets. The Lamian World Cuisine is where we ate our daily buffet breakfast. Marea Al Fresco Dining is an al fresco dining located near the swimming pool and offers a spectacular view of the infinity pool and the beach. And lastly, Flujo Bar which is a sunken lobby bar that serves refreshing summer cocktails, mock-tails, and tropical shakes. (See reviews online)

During our entire stay, The Bellevue Resort’s restaurants spoiled us with their sumptuous and delectable menu of local and international cuisines from breakfast to dinner.

During breakfast, we were treated with a wide spread of local and international dishes served daily at Lamian World Cuisine. The buffet is very impressive! It is composed of different meat, fish and vegetables dishes to choose from. There's also a bread station, salad bar, a cheese section, pasta station, an egg station and a variety of pastries and fresh fruits for desserts.

For dinner and lunch, we dined at Marea where we feasted on freshly-caught seafood specially prepared by their in-house chef.

Resort Amenities and Facilities

For the kids, the resort also has its own Game Room and Recreation Area where they can play table tennis, air hockey and an arcade basketball shooting machine. Aside from that, they also have computers connected to the internet for you to update all your happy thoughts as you stay at the resort. Or you can also try their PS3 with awesome games installed. You can also borrow books, dvds and board games so you can have fun with your friends. For the toddlers, they can enjoy the kiddie play room equipped with mini play houses, ball pits and other toys. Guests can also enjoy other activities and facilities such as biking, archery, basketball, and different water sports such as kayaking and jetski. They also have an outdoor playground for kids and offers free yoga, swimming and arts lessons, all for free!

As expected, they also have a fitness gym for guests who are health conscious even on their vacation.

If you want to have some pampering time after a day of exploring Bohol, Azurea Spa is the place to be! It offers an array of spa services as well as relaxing and quality massages with high commitment to customer service from their professionally-trained therapists.

One more reason why I loved Bohol is the clear water and its white sand beaches. I love Bellevue Bohol’s beachfront because of its serene and peaceful ambiance unlike any other beach. They have comfortable chairs and beach beds with umbrellas that you can use and I guess it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the Bellevue Bohol's private beach.

After the beach, we decided to give Bellevue Bohol's infinity pool a try. The pool is huge, with a range of 2ft to 12ft deep depending on your preference. It also has a deck with lounge chairs that is accessible by a walkway above water.

Overall, our stay was beyond my expectation. Lovely rooms, superb customer service and awesome food offerings are just some of the reasons why I would recommend The Bellevue Resort Bohol!
