Staycations in the Metro don't have to be the same experience every time. Why not experience an awesome stay in a condotel? These condotels are fully-furnished condominium units that are being rented like a hotel where guests could experience the modern convenience of condo living. There are many condo units in Metro Manila that are offered as condotels, one of them is ZenRooms Gil Puyat in Makati City.

Just recently, ZenRooms invited us to have a staycation in one of their properties located at Melbourne Residences. Conveniently located along Gil Puyat Avenue in Palanan, Makati, Zen Rooms Gil Puyat is a nice and trendy condo unit that's near the city's commercial and business establishments. Restaurants, convenience stores, fast food chain are also just a few minutes walk from the property.

Upon arrival at the lobby, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely hotel staff and quickly assisted us with out booking. It was fast and efficient. After registering our names and giving the security deposit of 500 pesos, we were given the keys to our room, which is located at the 7th floor.

Our room is nice condo unit complete with all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of the city. It has a small kitchen and dining area complete with cooking equipment and eating utensils, a spacious en suite toilet and bath, a balcony.

Highlighting the unit is a comfortable double bed, coupled with clean white sheet, blanket, thick comforter and fluffy pillows. It is also complemented by a small bedside table with a lamp at one side of the bed.

Other essential room amenities include: a cabinet, a huge television set with cable channels, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee and tea-making equipment, telephone, WiFi access, and an air-conditioning unit.

The toilet and bath is spacious and well-organized. It has clean bath towels, hair dryer, a shower area with hot and cold shower, a water closer with bidet spray, clothes hanging area, and a sink with mirror. What I love most is the bathroom's strong water pressure. Power shower! Yey!

Basic toiletries such as bath soap, shampoo, and dental care kits were provided by Melbourne Residences.

Additional toiletries and some goodies were also provided by ZenRooms! I love it!!!

Complimentary Breakfast

Every booking at ZenRooms Gil Puyat comes with complimentary set breakfast for 2. On our first day, we had tapsilog and tocilog with lemonade. On the 2nd day, we had chicken and pork meals paired with brewed coffee. They were quite good!

Amenities

ZenRooms Gil Puyat at Melbourne Residences doesn't have too much amenities to offer its guests. But we truly enjoyed their roof deck where you could have a very nice view of the city as well as have a good swim in their lovely swimming pool.

Highly-Commendable Staff

What I like most about ZenRooms Gil Puyat at Melbourne Residences are their friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist is very accommodating and pleasant. When we needed help, she's just a phone call away and always ready to assist us with our needs. Even the security guard at the entrance is very helpful in giving us directions when we asked for a certain place. Staff are really commendable!

Overall, we had a memorable and relaxing stay at ZenRooms Gil Puyat. Affordable, clean, and decent. It's an ideal place to stay in Makati if you want to get what your money is worth without sacrificing safety and comfort.

You may check room availability and updated room rates at their website www.zenrooms.com. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Children can stay in the room at no extra cost (without extra bed). Maximum number of persons allowed to stay in the room depends on the room type booked.
