Just last week, I was happy to be invited and to be part of a media familiarization tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is my 2nd time to visit Malaysia and I am so happy because this time, we're exploring the City of Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia's largest city, as well as its national capital.
It's my first time in KL, and I'm really excited because finally, I'll be able to cross out one of the items in my bucket list - to climb Petronas Twin Towers. Yey!
Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) via an Air Asia flight from Manila, we had a quick dinner at a fast food chains in the airport. After dinner, we went out of the airport and took a quick 10-minute walk to Tune Hotel KLIA2, which is located just across the airport.
If you arrive at KLIA2 during day time and it's hot outside, you may also use the covered walkway from the arrival hall that is directly connected to Tune Hotels KLIA2. (See the video instruction on how to get there at the end of this post.)

Staying true to their unique no-frills concept, Tune Hotel's guest rooms are very basic but complete with amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds are of 5-star quality, comfortable and complemented with clean white sheets, fluffy pillows and soft comforters.
Our room is a Twin Room with basic amenities such as an en suite toilet and bath with hot and cold shower, television set with cable channels, ceiling fan and air-conditioning unit, work desk with chair, in-room electronic safe, clothes hanging area, mirror, and a luggage rack.
The toilet and bath is small, but clean and well-organized. It has an enclosed shower area with hot and cold shower, a water closet with bidet spray and a sink with mirror. Basic toiletries such as shampoo, bath soap, and toilet paper were provided. For guests' comfort, additional bath amenities such as bath towels and hair dryer were also provided.
What I love most about our stay at Tune Hotels KLIA2 are the fast complimentary WiFi access, accommodating and pleasant staff, and the breakfast buffet. Other hotel amenities and facilities include a 24-hour in-house restaurant, computer sets at the lobby that guests can use for free, and a lovely courtyard bar and bistro.
Being a budget hotel, their complimentary breakfast buffet served at The Glasshouse Café is quite impressive. Buffet breakfast is available from 4:30 am – 10:00 am.

Flights to Kuala Lumpur from Manila
Air Asia has several daily flights from Manila to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Flights are at 06:40 AM, 12:55 PM and 05:05 PM daily. These flights depart from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 and arrive in Kuala Lumpuer International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2. They also have 2 daily flights from Davao, and one flight from Cebu which also arrive in KLIA2. You may visit www.airasia.com to book your flights.
