WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?

Batangas - Mt. Maculot Climb - December. 19-20, 2009

The Christmas Climb of the "Sosyal Klaymers". With me are my climbmates - Ayie, Julius, Ed, Bheng, Philip, Ricky, and Joan, plus our guest klaymers Kres and Paolo.

We started the climb late afternoon and were able to reach the campsite before night. Medyo nahirapan kami sa pag-setup ng tents namin kasi sobrang lakas talaga ng hangin sa campsite, and finally before magdilim nakapag-setup na kami ng camp and started to cook the dinner.

Ayie was assigned to cook the dinner for us. We had pork barbeque which we bought in the public market, and due to the missing soy sauce and vinegar, the chicken which supposed to be a chicken adobo became Chicken ala Maculot - Ayie's new invention. Hahaha!!! Masarap cya ha?!

We had the exchanging of gifts after the dinner and went on for the usual drinking session. We shared fun memories of our previous climbs, shared about life's best lessons and own life experiences.

We started our day 2 with a hefty breakfast courtesy of Philip. We had sinangag with repolyo, corned beef and fried dilis... Sa dami nga ng niluto eh we shared pa to the other climbers.

After the breakfast, we went to the famous "rockies" of Mt. Maculot. The view is so magnificent, you can see taal lake from there. Syempre picture taking galore kame before we decided to come back to the campsite to pack our things and prepare for our descend.

As expected, I had a great time again. Thanks guys, see you sa next climb on January 2010, Mt. Daguldul? Planuhin na yan ha?!!! =p

Thanks nga pala to Koya Jols for a well organized climb... As discussed, si Philip at Ricky naman daw ang organizers sa Daguldul climb... It's your time to shine... Go go go!!! Hehehe! =p
