WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?

Travel Guide : How to get to Anawangin Cove from Manila

It was in 2009 when we had our beach-bumming weekend in Anawangin Cove, Pundaquit San Antonio Zambales. I want to share to you how we were able to get there.

How to get to Anawangin Cove

1. Take a Victory Liner bus going to Iba Zambales and get off at the town of San Antonio. Or you may take a bus bound for Olongapo then transfer to a bus going to Iba Zambales. Fare is around 250 pesos. Check out www.victoryliner.com for the trip schedules.

2. From the town proper of San Antonio, take a tricyle going to Pundaquit Beach. Fare is 25 pesos per person.

3. Rent a boat that will bring you directly to Anawangin Cove from the locals offering their services. Boat rentals depend on the the size of the boat.

Note: When renting a boat, ask the boatman to bring you to Capones and Camara Islands as a side trip.

Me and my group will be back to Pundaquit in San Antonio Zambales tomorrow. We're going to explore Nagsasa Cove this time.

  4. @Red @ AnawanginCove - As I put it, Nagsasa Cove is a better alternative to Anawangin which has been exploited through the years by careless campers...

Hopefully, it will not end up like Anawangin...

    Thanks for the visit!
