If you're looking for an authentic feel of a house during the Spanish colonial times, Casa Punzalan is the perfect place to spend a night in Taal, Batangas.

Casa Punzalan is the first tourist inn in the centuries-old town of Taal. It is an 18th-century house converted into a small hotel under the auspices of the Taal Heritage Foundation. It has 3-fan rooms and 2 air-conditioned rooms, named after the children of the owners of the house.

Budget travellers like us were delighted as Casa Punzalan offers very low tariff rates of their rooms. For only 600 pesos (non-aircon room) and 1,000-1,200 pesos (aircon room) per night, you'll get to experience how to live in an 18th century house.




Located in the town proper, it is near the market, the town hall, commercial establishments, and offers a great view of the Taal Basilica.

    I got charged a hundred pesos more than you did. But yes, i did have a lot of fun at this very photogenic inn and whether its 600 or 700 a it's looot cheaper and better than some hotels or inns i've been to.

    This is great! Exactly what I needed. I am planning to go to Taal within the week (as of this writing) and I am looking for a cheap place to stay so this is perfect! I just hope they're not changing rates. :)

    KAGAGALING LANG NAMIN LAST MONDAY SA TAAL. ANG GANDA NG LUGAR. KAYA LANG SARADO PALA ANG MGA MUSEUM EVERY MONDAY AND TUESDAY.

    tama mas madami pang magandang lugar dito sa amin sa taal..bukod sa heritage town po ito..madmi din libreng beaches na pwedeng puntahan..sobrang mageenjoy po kayo dito!

    perfect heritage place, not properly maintained,,,wash room and water closet not working, see all the leakage,,,you cannot find tapsilog as early breakfast in that town.
