This Northern Mindanao Solo Adventure is a series of blog posts during my visit to the provinces of Misamis Oriental, Camiguin and Bukidnon last August 6-8, 2011. To date, these provinces are the 31st, 32nd and 33rd provinces on my list. Also, this is my 7th solo trip and my first time to set foot in Northern Mindanao.
DAY 1 – AUGUST 6, 2011
It was a bit late when I arrived at Lumbia Airport in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental. Upon landing in the City, I searched for a cheap accommodation within the city proper. After settling in, I went to Plaza Divisoria Night Café to have my dinner.
It was raining when I was at the café, so I had to wait for the rain to stop before I went back to my hostel. When I arrived at the hostel, I freshened up and went early to bed for my early morning trip to Camiguin the following day.
