1. Beach Bumming at White Beach (FREE)
Well, this is basically free! You could just lay down on the world-famous powdery white sand of Boracay while enjoying the sun. Swim in the clear waters and watch people around enjoying the beach. After all, you went to Boracay for the beach. Ayt?2. Explore the underwater with Helmet Diving (PHP 350)
If you are not a scuba diver but you want to see the life under the waters of Boracay, this is one adveturous activity perfect for you. Helmet diving/Reef walking is done by wearing a specialized helmet with a tube connected to an oxygen tank to give air while you're under the water. It cost me 350 pesos for a 30-minute helmet diving experience by "White Blue". I was able to see quite a number of fishes and it was a very nice experience.
I highly suggest "White Blue" because they will accommodate you even if you're just alone. What's also good with them is that they use oxygen tanks and not a compressor which is bad for your health. Lastly, their package includes 2 souvenir discs which contain photos and videos of your underwater adventure.
They are located at station 3, you may contact them at (036) 328 1239 throught their Facebook account, www.facebook.com/BoracayWhiteBlueDivingServiceinc.
3. Ride the Zorb (PHP 300)
This is one adventure that I've been wanting to try. In Boracay, there are several groups that offer this thrilling activity. They usually charge around 400-500 pesos for a zorb ride. I was able to haggle with the price and got it for only 300 pesos from "Ride the Zorb". The package also includes the transportation to and from the site. For inquiries, you may call them at 0939-2062220 / 228-1912.4. Bask at the beach of Puka (PHP 25)
This is one pocket of fine white sand at the other end of the island. The beauty of this beach is its uncrowdedness. It has fine white sand, clear water and unspoiled sorroundings. The island of Carabao (Hambil) in Romblon is also visible from here. I just enjoyed an afternoon of basking in the sand while watching tourists and some local kid playing around.I love it here! There's no one bugging me to try their "banana boat ride", "helmet diving", "massage", "island-hopping tours", etchetera, echetera. Hahaha!
If you want to go here from the white beach, you need to hire a tricycle (100 pesos) or wait for a jeepney going to Brgy. Yapak (which I think is not regular). The best way that you can do if want to save on transportation cost in getting to this beach is to go here after the zorb ride. Just ask the driver of the zorb ride to bring to Puka beach, since it is near the zorb site.
You would also need to hire a tricycle to go back to White beach for 100 pesos. To save on transportation expense, I walked a few meters away from the beach and just flagged down a random tricycle and paid 25 pesos going to Station 2.
5. Get a Relaxing Massage (PHP 300)
Be pampered and relieve the stress and aching muscles from a day of exploring the island with a good massage by the beach. Relax and enjoy the sound of the waves and the cool breeze of the air while enjoying every stroke of a well-trained massage therapist. I bet you'll never have a hard time finding one as they are everywhere in Stations 2 and 3 (not sure with station 1 though).6. Chase the Boracay Sunset (FREE)
I know that a lot of people will agree that one of the best sunsets in the country can be seen in Boracay. Watch the sky turns into a multitude of colors as it sinks on the western side of the island. No doubt, it's the perfect way to end each lovely day in Boracay.Tip: Avoid getting packages from "tour agents" bugging you at the beach. It's too expensive. The best way to go is to get it directly from the activity operators.
