Pinoy Festivals: Photos from Masskara Festival 2012 Street Dance Performance (School Category)

Araneta street in Bacolod City was on festive mood as the Street Dancing competition for the schools category of Masskara Festival happened last Saturday, October 20, 2012. Street performance comprises 50% of the total score while the other 50% is judged during the arena competition at the City Public Plaza.

Emerging as winners are Luisa Medel National High School for the high school category, who also won Best in Concept and Best in Choreography, and Sum-ag Elementary School for the elementary level, who also goes home with a Best in Concept award.

Here are some of the photos I took during the street performances:

  1. Ganda ng kuha. Laki rin pala ng makukuha ng champion. Pero sabagay, effort din kasi sila sa costume.

  2. The photos are awesome! Sayang I arrived Sunday lang and did not experience much of the streetdancing. But I enjoyed the vibe during the last night at Lacson St. It was so fun! =)
