WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?

Bukidnon - Hiking and Waterfalls Hopping at The Center for Ecological Development and Recreation (CEDAR)

After the street dancing and ground performances of the tribes at the Kaamulan Festival 2013, we had lunch and then proceeded to "The Center for Ecological Development and Recreation (CEDAR)" located in Impalutao, in the town of Impasug-ong. I'm clueless as to what to see there; my friends just told me that there would be hiking and waterfalls. So we go... From Malaybalay City, we hired a multicab that brought us to CEDAR.

The Center for Ecological Development and Recreation is a reforestation project developed and managed by the Local Government Unit of Impasug-ong and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Upon arriving at the center, we registered and paid the entrance fee of 10 pesos each.

There are 3 waterfalls at the center, Gantungan Falls which is 720 meters away from the entrance; Natigbasan Falls which is 780 meters away and Dila Falls which is 960 meters away.

Trekking to the waterfalls was not a problem. Since some of my friends have been here before, we just followed them and reached one waterfalls to another.

Certainly, CEDAR is an eco-tourism center filled with awesome natural wonders and breathtaking man-made sights. I enjoyed this quick, fun and refreshing side-trip with my blogger-friends.
