You can read the separate post on Moriones Festival here. While waiting for the event to start, some of us roamed around and visited the Boac Catheral, went to Rejano's to have some snacks and to buy their famous uraro for pasalubong, while I checked on the trade fair for some souvenir shopping.
13. Boac Cathedral

15. Souvenir Shopping
16. Visit Boac Museum
After the Via Crusis, we visited Boac Museum, located beside the Boac Town Plaza and Rizal Park. Housed in an old Spanish building that used to be a library and Municipal Trial Court of Boac, it is home to a collection of artifacts and important collections about the Island of Marinduque.Entrance fee is 20 pesos for adults and 10 pesos for Students and Senior Citizens. The museum is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with lunch break). Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are by appointment.
17. Paadjao Falls
We then drove all the way to Paadjao Falls in Sitio Paadjao, Barangay Bokbok in the town of Mogpog. An ideal place for picnicking or camping, the falls requires a bit of trekking passing through dense vegetation to reach it. The main falls is a 15-foot high cascading waterfalls which ends in a 10-foot deep pool.We left the place after about an hour of enjoying the falls.
18. Hanging Bridge
Before reaching the main road, we passed by a hanging bridge. We decided to stop for a while to take photos.19. Gasan Butterfly Garden
We then drove back to the town of Gasan to visit Gasan Butterfly Garden. It has several butterfly cages and well-kept gardens, a perfect place for families and friends to hangout.20. Duyay Falls and Man-made Pool
Then off to one of my favorites of this whole Marinduque Trip. A late afternoon swim at Duyay Falls and Man-made Pool. We had to trek for about 15 minutes passing through river streams to reach the man-made pool.We truly enjoyed swimming it its cool and clean water. It was already dark when we left the place. What an awesome reward for another day of fun and adventure!
There are really a lot of things you can do and experience in Marinduque. I highly suggest that you visit these tourist spots and attractions and make your Marinduque Adventure special and a memorable one.
