Magnaga Waters Beach Resort is located in the town of Pantukan, province of Compostela Valley. It is is one of the best affordable beaches in the province that sits on a 12.5-hectare lot teeming with lush foliage, tall coconut trees and a wide shoreline. It has a pretty decent beach that you can hang out along with your family and friends.
The resort is ideal for team building and other outdoor activities. They have 24 hours security and wide parking space. Rooms and cottages are also available. Air-conditioned room ranges from 800-1,000 pesos with private toilet and bath and television which could accommodate 2 persons.
They also have what they call "Bunsod", a house built in the middle of the sea which costs 8,000 pesos for an overnight stay. For day trips, beach cottages are also available.
Entrance fee is 25 pesos each for adults and 10 pesos for children with free use of the beach slide.
Upon arrival at the resort, we checked on the beach, took photos and enjoyed the cool breeze of the wind.
Then we proceeded to their "Isabelle Restaurant", where we had our lunch. They offer good food for a very affordable price. We had fried okoy, sinigang na isda and ginisang munggo.
After having our lunch, we just killed some time at the "Baley Managa" enjoying the stunning decors and furnishings. I just love the place's intricate design made of indigenous materials. The lovely chandelier is my favorite!
After about an hour, we left the place as we continue our trip going to Mati in Davao Oriental. This is a good stop-over when traveling to Mati City.
