After visiting the hot and boiling Lake Agco, we continued wandering around Mt. Apo Natural Park. As we explore, our restless feet brought us to a place enveloped by sulfuric steam coming from the volcanic vents (see video below). We were just enjoying the stunning view of the cliff when a group of men passed by. They invited us to visit their place. Clueless as to what to see in their place, we went and followed them.
It took us an easy 10-minute walk to their place called "Lost and Found".

Lost and Found Prayer Temple is a privately-owned prayer temple dedicated solely for the purpose of prayer and to provide a place of solitude for people seeking to be refreshed and united with God.

The place is really beautiful! It is surrounded by lush vegetation, tall tress and green surroundings. During our visit, they are still in the process of developing the place for visitors wanting to find peace and serenity. I guess by now, it is fully developed.

From the prayer temple, we went down to the area which they are developing. It has nipa huts where visitors can stay for free. The view from here is truly amazing. The weather is cold and surrounded with lush tropical foliage.

With this kind of place, you really feel inner peace with God and nature. At Lost and Found Prayer Temple, it doesn't matter what your religion is, whether you're christian, muslim or any other religion. You can go to their place and have time to unite with your creator.

After about an hour, we bid goodbye and thanked the owners for inviting us to their place. With Kuya Marvin again, we drove back to Kidapawan City proper. We arrived at the pension house around past noon and checked-out.

Note: North Cotabato is also known as Cotabato Province. For this blog, I used North Cotabato to differentiate it with Cobabato City.
HOW TO GET TO KIDAPAWAN CITY
Kidapawan can be reached by bus or van from Davao or Cotabato City. From Davao City's Ecoland Terminal, there are buses (Weena bus) bound for Kidapawan or to Cotabato City which passes by Kidapawan City. If you want to take the passenger vans, go to NCCC Mall or SM City Davao where you could find the vans bound for Kidapawan City. Estimated travel time from Davao City to Kidapawan is about 2 hours. Fare is around 150 pesos from Davao City.
If you are coming from General Santos City, take a bus to Davao City and drop off at Digos City Terminal and take a bus bound for Cotabato City, which will stop over at Kidapawan City.
HOW TO GET TO MT. APO NATURAL PARK
From Kidapawan City, take a habal-habal or single motorcycle at KOASA Terminal. Travel time is about 45 minutes, fare is around 100 pesos per head.
