It is confirmed that the biggest aviation sports festival in the Philippines and the longest running balloon event in Asia is cancelled for 2014. The cancellation of the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta for 2014 was confirmed last Wednesday, November 27, 2013, by Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Tourism Office Manager Noemi Garcia, saying that it is "too soon already for PIHABF 2014."
According to the organizers, the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta shall be back on 2015 with a bigger hot air balloon festival.
The Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is a much-awaited annual aviation sports event in the Philippines scheduled every third week of February. A 4-day event held annually in Clark Pampanga, it also highlights aerial shows and other exhibitions.
I was able to attend the festival this year. You may read my posts from the links below:

Well at least may nasabi na mas malaking event but no reason why na cancel for this year. Is it for preparation. Anyhow let's wait for 2015. :)
ReplyDeletesayang, inaabangan ko pa naman itong event, wala pa silang masabi na reason kung bakit. hanap nalang siguro ng ibang event na mapupuntahan next year. :)
