Having enjoyed a visit to the Le Chef at The Manor last year, I was ecstatic when I learned that they will be hosting us again on this edition of Baguio Food Tour 2014. Le Chef is The Manor Hotel's all-day dining restaurant inside Camp John Hay. The restaurant, hailed as one of the best fine-dining restaurants in Baguio is known to offer appetizing Filipino and international cuisines set in a refreshing log cabin atmosphere.
Upon arrival, we were ushered to our reserved table which has a very nice view of The Manor's sprawling gardens. I love it as it lets you enjoy good food, cool and breezy weather as well as the great view from the outside. The interiors were predominantly done in wood, giving out that cozy vibe. Its overall ambiance is pleasant, serene and well organized.
I roamed around first to check on the gardens. It was a beautiful day, the sun is out and the sky was so blue! I love the fresh flowers all around me. The flowers bloom so lovely in Baguio, it must be the cold and breezy weather of the city.
I went back to the restaurant to check on the sumptuous offerings at their wide buffet spread. The breakfast spread was impressive. It is composed of an array of sumptuous selections such as salads, pancakes, omelettes, cereals, waffles, breads, bacon, sausages, assorted cold cuts many kinds of delectable and mouthwatering Filipino and international dishes. For health conscious, there's also fresh fruits, yogurt and salads!
Le Chef at the Manor is truly one of the best restaurants in Baguio. Their breakfast buffet has a wide selection of dishes and the quality of the food is awesome! I was really really full when we left the restaurant. I think, I wouldn't be able to eat until dinner. Hahaha!
Le Chef is open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. At PHP 550 net/person for the breakfast buffet, it's certainly a good deal!
