One thing that I really look forward to whenever I got the chance to check-in to a hotel is the buffet breakfast that comes the morning after. Azalea Residences' buffet breakfast is served at their in-house restaurant called Tradisyon, "Pinoy Comfort Food", located on the ground floor of the hotel. Getting up early in cold Baguio City weather is quite hard; but for 2 mornings during the Baguio Food Tour 2014 held last March, we got up early so we could experience Tradisyon Restaurant's breakfast buffet.
Upon entering the restaurant, I instantly noticed its chic interiors with a very welcoming vibe, comfy chairs and couches and a very nice mountain view from the outside through a huge glass window at one side where natural light comes in.
I went first to the buffet spread to try on the different selections of Filipino, American and Continental dishes. I was so delighted with the variety of food available. It is composed of an array of sumptuous selections such as Baguio longganisa, crispy daing, grilled chicken, bacon, pasta, salads, pancakes, omelettes, cereals, breads, fresh fruits, congee and other delectable and mouthwatering dishes. Hot coffee, hot choco and fruit juices are also available at the buffet table.
The egg of course is cooked according to how would you like it done. I requested for a well-done sunny side-up egg from their staff assigned at the egg station. The eggs I ordered were served on my table. They were a bit "malasado", but it's okay. As long as it's hot and newly cooked, it's still a perfect match to the longganisa and bacon. Yum yum!
Tradisyon Resturant's breakfast buffet has a good selection of dishes and the quality of the food is quite impressive! Customer service is superb! The sweet smiles from the restaurant's staff are highly commendable.
I was really really full when we left the restaurant. With this "power breakfast", I would have enough energy for the activities lined up for us today.
Savor these delicious food in a comfy atmosphere. Buffet breakfast at "Tradisyon" is included in every booking at Azalea Residences. For extra persons or for those who are not staying in Azalea, you can just go here and have taste of their sumptuous
dishes for only 500.00 pesos each. Comfort food + cozy restaurant = awesome dining experience! Tara, let's eat!
