July 27, 2014 is a Special Non-working Holiday in Observance of Iglesia ni Cristo Anniversary

President Benigno Aquino III signed Joint Resolution No. 2, which was approved by both Houses of Congress, declaring July 27, 2014 (Sunday) as a special non-working holiday to commemorate the 100th founding anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo. The proclamation was issued to "enhance public awareness" on the contributions of the INC to national development.
