JSJ Goat Farm is located on a sprawling 10-hectare property in Brgy. Caruray, Gerona, Tarlac. It is a family-owned business headed by Mr. Jeffrey Lim who established the goat farm way back in June 2001. The farm grows and breeds purebred goats such as Boer, Anglo Nubian, and British Alpines from Australia and the United States to ensure top quality milk-producing goats. The farm's milk produce is sold to clients and also processed into various milk and specialty cheese products.
The first thing we did in the farm to have a tour around the facilities where the owner showed us the different goats and sheep that they have. It was a learning experience for me to see how they are kept and bred the goats, seeing the goat's milking process, as well as learning about their daily diet.
After the tour, we had a food tasting activity where the owners prepared for us a special pizza that used goat cheese as the main ingredient. It was so good and flavorful! This is the first time I've tasted a pizza with goat cheese on it. I enjoyed it!
Paired with hot pandesal, we also tried the different goat cheese variants that they process such as cream cheese, feta cheese soaked in extra virgin olive oil and the classic kesong puti.
They also have pasteurized goat's milk drinks under the Aussie Goat Milk brand which comes in pure milk and chocolate drink variants. The pure goat's milk is fresh, slightly sweet and delicious. They also have the Yoyo Yogurt drink made from goat's milk and comes in different refreshing flavors such as Pineapple, Mango, Strawberry and Cranberry.
JSJ Goat Farm's milk and cheese products are available at Centro Pasalubong De Tarlac, at the grocery of SM City Tarlac as well as at the lobby of Microtel Inn and Suites By Wyndham-Luisita.
