RESTAURANTS AT SM JAZZ MALL: Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant SM Jazz Mall, Makati City

Vikings Luxury Buffet is a buffet-concept restaurant that takes pride in its modern interpretation of European, American, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Filipino cuisines. The restaurant, as we know it today, is said to have the largest buffet areas found in the Philippines and has revolutionized the standards of dining in class and style in the country. They have branches at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM City Marikina, SM North EDSA and SM Lanang Premier.

Last December, I was happy to be invited at Vikings' latest branch at the newly-opened SM Jazz Mall located at the corner of Jupiter Street and Reposo Street in Makati City. This is the 6th and newest Vikings Luxury Buffet branch in country.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, I was impressed and surprised to be greeted with very lavish interiors reminiscent of classic European vibe (which I've only seen on photos... I haven't been to Europe! Hahaha!).

The place is really nice with bright and warm colors. There are comfy couches, button chaise chairs and marble tables which add a very classy feel to the restaurant's theme. More to that are the high ceilings, elegant chandeliers and huge paintings on the walls which really makes you feel the European vibe of the restaurant.

This newest branch of Vikings was built to accommodate maybe up to 500 guests at the same time; but I must warn you, the place really gets crowded so it's better if you have a reservation or come in early.

As a buffet restaurant, Vikings Jazz Mall has several food stations with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. It includes Appetizers Section, Filipino Section, Japanese and Korean Section, Chinese Section, Italian Section, Carving and Grilling Section, Desserts Section, and the Beverage Section.

With this extensive selection of dishes, it's really hard to decide where to start first. So I just followed where my feet brought me and continued trying every dish I could.

Eating at Vikings Jazz Mall is such an awesome gastronomic delight that would not only appeal to your sense of sight but definitely to your taste buds.

Overall, I had a great dining experience at Vikings SM Jazz Mall. The food were good, freshly cooked and well-replenished. I love that the selection of dishes are really huge that you'll end up confused where to start! Hahaha! But that's a good problem though! *wink*

Vikings Jazz Mall is definitely worth visiting! I recommend it for you to try and indulge yourself on good food, great place and a lot of eating!
