Gran Prix Econotel Pasay is a member of the Gran Prix Hotels group that can be found in other locations such as Manila, Cubao (Quezon City), Tarlac, Cebu and Boracay. It is conveniently located at the Victory Liner Bus terminal along EDSA in Pasay City. Its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the MRT and LRT, SM Mall of Asia and other business and commercial establishments makes it an ideal place to stay for business and leisure travelers visiting the city of Manila.
Earlier this month, during the opening night of the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition in SM Mall of Asia, we had a chance to stay for a night at Gran Prix Econotel Pasay.
Upon arrival at the hotel at around 10:00 am, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and assisted us with our reservation. The standard check-in time is 2:00 pm, but since there is already an available room, we were allowed for an early check-in at no extra cost! I love it!
Checking-in was fast and efficient. It only took us about 5 minutes and we were given our room's key card. We were then assisted by their friendly staff with our luggage and ushered us to our room.
Our room is a very basic standard room with 1 queen-size bed, an airconditioning unit, a television set with cable channels, cabinet and a small working desk. The bed is comfortable and it is coupled with clean white sheets, pillows and a blanket.
The room is dimly lit, smells fresh, clean and well-organized. It also has a small bed table on one side where you could also find a telephone and wall sockets to charge the batteries of your gadgets. Complimentary bottled water were also provided.
It also has an en suite toilet and bath which is spacious, clean and well-kept. The shower produces excellent water pressure with hot and cold water feature.
Basic toiletries such as shampoo, bath soap, dental care kits and clean bath towels were all provided.

Free Breakfast
Each booking comes with complimentary breakfast served at the hotel's food shop. It is a plated set meal with several options to choose from, such as tapsilog, longsilog, tocilog and others. There are also fruits and sandwiches included in the meal.WIFI Internet Access
Free internet access is available inside the hotel. It's fast at the lobby but gets weak inside the room.Overall, we had a safe and comfortable stay at Gran Prix Econotel Pasay. I recommend it for you to stay-in if you're looking for a decent and affordable place to stay in Pasay City.
