FOTD Resto Cafe (Food Of The Day) is one of the newest casual dining restaurants in Baguio City. Located along Naguilian road in Quezon Hill, they have been creating a buzz at Baguio City's dining scene because of their awesome selection of gourmet Filipino and Chinese dishes as well as their sumptuous pizza, pasta, burgers and coffee drinks.
In one of my trips to Baguio City, we were invited by one of the owners to try their restaurant. From our hotel along Kisad Road, we took a taxi and just told the driver to bring us to Quezon Hill near the arch before reaching the grotto. That is the most known landmark near FOTD Resto Cafe.
Upon entering the FOTD Resto Cafe, I was instantly impressed by its chic and stylish interiors. I like the lovely fixtures and the comfy couches where guests could really have an awesome dining experience and relish on good food that FOTD offers.
Here are the dishes we got to try for dinner at FOTD Resto Cafe:
Grilled Beef with Onions and Button Mushrooms (PHP 160.00)
Grilled tender and juicy beef tips sauteed in onions and button mushrooms. I like it so much as it is very flavorful and the beef is really tender. A must-try at FOTD!Le Hong Pork Adobo with Egg (PHP 180.00)
One of the chef's specialties, it is Chinese-style braised pork belly slowly cooked for hours to assure its tenderness. I love its thick sauce and tender meat that has a savory taste. No wonder, it is one of their best sellers.Pesto-rrific Pasta (PHP 140.00)
I've tasted several pesto-based pasta before. But what set FOTD's pesto pasta apart from the rest is the use of fresh ingredients in their pesto sauce. I like it as it is not very oily and yet packed with rich flavors.Coffees and Lattes
For drinks, we had Caramel Frappe (PHP 120.00) as well as Cookies and Cream Frappe (PHP 130.00). Both are so good! The best things is you can choose to make it coffee-based or caffeine free. I love it!Cakes and Patries
Dessert has always been my favorite part of every meal. FOTD offers different cakes and pastries to choose from that will certainly satisfy your sweet cravings. We had Blueberry Cheesecake (PHP 75.00) and Panna Cotta (PHP 55.00). My personal favorite is the blueberry cheesecake! it's not too sweet, which I like!Overall, we had a very delightful dinner at FOTD Resto Cafe. The food servings are generous, the prices are reasonable, the service is commendable and the food really tastes great! It's an ideal place to dine in Baguio City with your family and friends. I recommended it for you to try when visiting Baguio City!
