ReplyDeletegreat blog :D
I was one of the "Lucky" people who witness Boracay's virginity back in December of 1988 and I could say it USED to be was One of the Best Beaches in the World, . The only way to get there at that time was via Kalibo Aklan and the road was a messed. Only a few tricycle's goes to the beach and the driver does not even want to bring us to the beach where we are staying because it was getting dark and he was scared of the "Manananggal" ...that's how virgin it was...lol. The place we stayed was not even a hotel but sort of a nipa-hut. There where only a handful houses in sight, one we stayed was owned by a German guy with his filipina wife. The island was beyond beautiful. The Sea shores even glows at night the corals were amazingly breathtaking. But unfortunately, I went back in 2006 and is ruined now by overcrowded tourist and hotels that have no respect with the island. Disgusting... This place has become the Cancun Mexico of Asia where all the spring breakers comes to party.
