Last May 15, 2015, the 24/7/7 Project Photo Exhibit was launched at the Bonifacio High Street showcasing the different works of the top photographers in the country. The project's creative vision was the brainchild of lens man Jun De Leon and was executed in collaboration with the provincial government of Camarines Sur. Initiated by Camsur Governor Miguel "Migz" Villafuerte, it aims to promote the province's popular destinations as well as its lesser-known but equally spellbinding destinations.

Why the project called 24/7/7?

Because all the images were captured in a span of 24 hours by 7 of the country's top photographers in 7 destinations highlighting the province of Camarines Sur's beauty and grandeur. As per Jun De Leon, he was inspired by the television series 24. "It made use of narration techniques via real-time footages and split screens to show simultaneous events so I thought why not 7 photographers have in 7 different locations in CamSur take photographs in a span of 24 hours all at the same time?"

All the images were breathtaking and the idea was to showcase CamSur's people and places through a photography initiative that hasn't been done as per Governor Miguel "Migz" Villafuerte, and he also added that we are all contributing to the development of the province of Camarines Sur. They chose Metro Manila for photo exhibit to promote tourism because he believes that the more they promote Camarines Sur's tourism, the more tourists will visit the province. With that, Camarines Sur will have the chance to get more tourism funds. In return, if they have more funds, the more children they can help, as well as build more classrooms, bridges and road rehabilitation.

And he believes in the saying "A pictures speak a thousand words", where each photograph tells a story that will inspire people both local and foreign tourists to discover the gems of Camsur and witness how even more spectacular these places are in real life.

Here are some photos to give you a glimpse of the 24/7/7 Project Photo Exhibit held at Bonifacio High Street. (May 15-17, 2015)
