Cheap Accommodation in Manila
If you're a budget traveler who have traveled to Mindanao before, you probably familiar with D' Morvie Suites in Iligan, Cagayan de Oro and Davao City. It's a popular budget hotel and a favorite among budget travelers, backpackers and locals needing a place to stay for few hours for as low as 250 pesos per 12 hours.
Flor and Al Mansion's Lobby
They have opened their newest branch with the name Flor and Al Mansion in Pasay City. Located along EDSA (across Philtranco Bus Terminal-Pasay), it is near bus terminals and just a few minutes away from and to Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Their room rates starts from Php 280.00 to Php 350.00 good for 12 hours. All rooms are equipped with amenities such as an air-conditioning unit, en suite toilet and bath, 40-inch television set with cable channels and free WIFI internet.
Published Rate: For as low as 280 pesos for 12 hours
Last week, we needed a room to stay while waiting for our very early morning flight; so we gave Flor and Al Mansion a try. Upon entering the lobby, we booked for a room good for 2 persons. We paid 350 pesos and we were given the room key, a small bar of soap and a sachet of shampoo. If you need other amenities such as tooth brush, tooth paste, etc., they are also available at the check in counter.
Cheap Accommodation in Manila
Don't expect too much with this budget hotel in Pasay City. The room is really small and there is no extra space to move around. But I'm okay with as it is equipped with all the amenities. For only 350 pesos, what else can I ask for? Here are some photos to give you a glimpse of what to expect at Flor and Al Mansion's guest rooms.

They also have an F&B service where you could order meals and snacks.
Overall, Flor and Al Mansion is an ideal place to stay for backpackers and budget travelers. Whether you're catching a flight, a bus trip or just needs a place to stay for a few hours, Flor and Al Mansion is a nice place to stay near the airport and bus stations in Pasay City. Just don't expect too much as their amenities are really very basic.

DeleteJust tell the cab driver to drop you off right after (Cabrera/Philtanco overpass, if you are from North). If you rode an MRT, alight at MRT EDSA station, take a stairs at the right side of the station, just take a walk and you can see this before the Cabrera/Philtanco overpass.

ReplyDeleteWalang hidden charges. They only offer 12 hours, but if you decide to go for 24, just double the price of your room rate.

DeleteBeen there for a few times now. It's not that bad, maybe kase bago pa pero yes, the sheets smell and feel clean, the bathroom door know is not whacked unlike sa iba, the water is pretty warm kaya pag maliligo ka from chilling with the AC, ayos lang. And they have big-ass flat screen TV's per room.
ReplyDeleteDown side lang, walang remote control. In the house rule it says P50 daw remote control rental pero nung nagtanong kami, wala daw. Yung wi-fi, hindi lahat ng rooms abot. What I hate most are the sort of bastos staff. Super! Lalo na yu g sa reception na gurl at naka braces! Just because the place is cheap, wala din kwenta ang staff di ba? They can do anything from apathetically to rudely answering your questions, raising their voice, banging the phone handset shut, or handing keys to you by dropping them forcefully on the counter right in front of you. Nakakasira ng araw minsan. Mahiya naman sana ang staff sa may-ari. Tsk.. :(

ReplyDeleteThe Staff there are very dishonest! I left my small bag with 3 usb, Samsung Power bank, huwawei pocket wifi, charger, 2 orig. earphones (apple & samsung). 2 hours after I checkout I came back to check the room if it still there. Unfortunately I did'nt found it (as expected), so I approach to the lobby and she said to come back tonight because the helper who check our room alreadt left. So i did. When I came back they said the helper didn't found anything, so I answered obviously he would say that, I just want to talk hin personally, I told them. The helper insisted the he's not the one who check our room and insisted to leave him (with high pitch voice!) So I insist to watch the CCTV for me to know the name of whoever check our room.. and it turns out the rustic guy I talked with with very rustic attitude. I already have a hint when I talk to him 'coz he's acting guilty!. anyways, my emotions that time is very high but after a day I realize it's not valuable at all, I just need the files in my usb. ReplyDeletein terms of budget its cheaper among the rest. In terms of services maka ilang beses na din ako nag check in here weekly 2 to 3 days stay (because of cheaper ang rate), sana lang po eh huwag pabayaan ang CR at AIRCON, been observed lately na ang aircondition mahina mainit kahit nag request ka na ang ipapalit mahina pa din mainit, may mga ilang receptionists suplada kulang ng training. Sana lang po huwag naman sanang gawing dahilan na mura kaya kahit palpak ang servies ok na kaya mag tiis nalang mga customers. Nais kong iparating sa kinauukulan na imaintain lamang po ang magandang image ng FLOR AL mapalabas at mapaloob... ay maayos makitungo sa mga customers. MARAMING SALAMAT PO sa may ari paki visit at magkaroon din sana kayo ng mystery client para malaman ninyo ang klase ng servisyo ng FLOR AL sa PASAY CITY..
