Eastwood City Showcases Food Artistry at its Finest

Eastwood City Food Artistry is one of a kind event that showcases the food artistry to all the guest and we're able to witness and taste the food available in each participating restaurant held at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel Grand Ballroom for their ongoing 30 days FOODSTAGRAM Contest. Each chef of the participating restaurant was able to showcase their food artistry, not only the taste but also how they serve their masterful creations.

Like what Megaworld First Vice President and Commercial Division Head Kevin L. Tan said that “Eastwood City has always been known for its dynamic dining scene and its chef-driven restaurants. With this campaign, we are inviting diners to experience food artistry at its finest and try new dishes that really capture the essence of a chef, which is to create masterful and extraordinary dishes that can please both eye and the palate.”

Risotto Balls by Chef James Torres of Potts Point Café

Consists of three-piece fried mushroom risotto balls set against a creamy and flavorful tomato and pesto puree. It was perfect for setting the mood for a mouthwatering feast.

Chef James said “Serving food is about the life of the chef, the heart of the chef towards the food.”

Volcano Roll by Chef Hideaki Tohyama and Chef Ben Gon of Sandaime

Made of deep fried spam maki topped with cream cheese, capsicum topped ebiko, spring onions, tencuts and a special sauce that every Japanese food-lovers will surely be captivated upon looking and tasting this delicious and explosive heap.

Chef Hideaki and Chef Ben said “Nothing satisfies chefs more than seeing customers happy and satisfied as they leave the restaurant.”

Trio of Pinoy Antipasti by Chef Pat Obia of Eastwood Richmonde Hotel

Consist of fried adobong calamares in negra aioli dip, Bacolod style chicken sisig inasal and Filipino chorizo Bruschetta, a toasted mini pandesal with ground Vigan longganisa, all three dishes are most-loved Filipino food in one glamorous dish.

Mushroom and Kale Paella by Chef Robby Goco of Green Pastures

This dish consists of Ifugao heirloom Tinawon red rice topped with intricately arranged fried oyster mushroom, quail egg, saffron aioli and paprika oil. If you’re a health-conscious foodie you must try this beloved Paella that puts a healthy twist.

Brisket Sisig Taco by Chef Chiloy Santos of Kettle

Made of sautéed beef brisket chunks pickled slaw, cilantro, and pepper coulis that gives this fusion dish exploding with delicious flavors. Yummmm!

Chef Chiloy said “Food is an art because it has to be pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the palate.”

Tequila Rose Gelato by Chef Avi Shani of Bar Dolci

This lovely, pink-colored gelato is made even more decadent by the passion fruit Macaron sitting atop and a drizzle of melted chocolate that tastes as good as it looks.

Chef Avi said “To make sure that the people enjoy your food is the most important thing for a chef.”

Sugar-free Queso de Bola, Lemon Cheesecake, and Triple Chocolate Cheesecake by Chef Gregory Guy by Cheesecakes by Guy

Definitely the finest and most delicious cheesecakes in town that dessert lovers will surely find it hard to resist. These sweet, soft and creamy little wonders are heavenly delicious especially when paired with an equally delightful cup of the restaurant’s signature Tsokolate de Batirol.
