Hamburg, a major port city in northern Germany is second only to Berlin in size and population - it is 7 times bigger than the City of Paris and has around 1.8 Million people. But the city of Hamburg boasts to be the home to the country's biggest port and considered as the 3rd largest port in Europe getting a well-deserved reputation as "Germany's Gateway to the World."
