GADGET REVIEW: Asus Zenfone 2 Laser, "Powerful yet Affordable Smartphone for your Travels and Adventures!"

A good smartphone is one of my must-haves in every travel. I use it to communicate, run some apps, book a hotel, update my social media account and to take those precious travel moments. With so many new smartphones coming out now and then, it is easy to get one. But finding the best phone that will suit your needs is a totally different story.

Just recently, I was given by Asus Philippines their newest smartphone model called Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 ZE500KL. A phone that promises unprecedented performance, sharp vision and a seamless and intuitive UI, designed to be your best companion. Hmmmm... Let's see!

At first hold, I instantly love its sleek, ergonomic and functional design. With a dimension of 152.5 x 77.2 x 3.9 mm, it has that sturdy feel and weighs very light at 170 grams. The ports and buttons were also nicely placed on the top and bottom sides for accessibility and functionality. The elegant new Ergonomic Arc design feels secure and extremely comfortable to hold. I certainly love Asus Zenfone 2 Laser's awesome ergonomic design with a premium feel!


The 5.0-inch HD display at 1280 x 720 resolution is also impressive! It has rich and natural colors that gives amazingly crisp images. It also reduced the bezel width, giving ZenFone 2 Laser ZE500KL a remarkable 70% screen-to-body ratio.

The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL features a Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor coupled with Android Lollipop OS. With these features, it certainly offers that optimum performance and speed I am looking for in a smartphone. With this, I could do more and lets me do multiple tasks without lagging.

One of the highlights of the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser is the 8 megapixel main camera with Laser-guided auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash, 5 P Largan Lenses and ƒ/2.0 aperture that is just so perfect for taking those awesome travel photos. It also has a front camera which is good at 5-MP with auto focus, ƒ/2.0 aperture and 85° wide angle ideal for selfies.

As connectivity is very important to me, I am happy that Asus Zenfone 2 Laser supports dual (micro) SIM capability that can connect to 3G and LTE signals. With this, it's easier to switch from one mobile service provider to another, whichever provides the best mobile signal wherever I may be. It also supports Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and A-GPS connectivity.

It is available in colors such as Black, Ceramic White, Silver, Purple, Aqua Blue, Sheer Gold and Glamour Red.
