Viet Nam Deli Café is a "hidden gem" you'll be proud to discover. Drive all the way to Las Piñas City and be treated with dishes that are specially prepared by their well-trained chef with each dish made with fresh ingredients imported directly from Vietnam which assures authentic flavors of its cuisines.
Last month, I was invited by Robinsons Place Las Piñas for a "Bloggers Food Trip" in some of their local and international restaurants. We got to try Viet Nam Deli Café which serves all authentic Vietnamese famous food, delicacies, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Owned and run by a Filipino-Vietnamese, this is currently their first and only branch in the country. They offer good-tasting and authentic Vietnamese cuisines using the finest ingredients imported from Vietnam - which according to the owner, it is to assure authenticity in taste and flavors of the dishes they serve their valued guests.
Their menu is composed of several carefully selected Vietnamese dishes. From soups, salads, noodles, meat to desserts. We got to try some of them.
Chả giò
Fried spring rolls made with ground pork, shrimps, black fungus and traditional (Nuoc Nam) fish sauce and then wrapped in rice paper. Served hot and freshly deep-fried, it certainly makes me miss Vietnam!Gỏi Cuốn
Fresh spring rolls made with pork, shrimps and Vermicelli. It is then served with creamy peanut hoisin sauce that bring out its rich flavors.Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang
Traditional Vietnamese supreme noodle soup with pork, pork liver, shrimps, quail eggs, straw mushrooms, fried shallots, fried garlic and served with fresh herbs. It's one of the best Vietnamese Noodle Soups I've ever tasted. We also got to try some of their new dishes that are set to be launched this month. These dishes are affordable rice bowl meals to cater to the request of their guests for rice topping meals.
We ended our sumptuous and very filling late lunch at Viet Nam Deli Café with freshly-brewed Vietnamese Coffee, a very refreshing Dalandan Juice and a serving of Chè Trôi Nước, a Vietnamese dessert made of sticky balls from mung bean paste wrapped in a shell made of glutinous rice flour served in a thick sauce made of water, sugar and grated ginger root. I loved it! I think I had so much of it. Hahaha!
What I also love at Viet Nam Deli Café is that they have a small store at one side of the restaurant where you could buy some Vietnamese products. From tea, coffee, juices to some snacks, they have it.
Overall, we had an awesome dinging experience at Viet Nam Deli Café in Robinsons Place Las Piñas. Their food really taste good and were well-prepared. The staff are nice and always attend to your needs. Dining at Viet Nam Deli Café felt like I was transported back to Vietnam!
