Last weekend, we were back at Lima Park Hotel, a prime business and leisure hotel located at the Lima Technology Center in Malvar, Batangas. Together with other members of the media, we joined them in their celebration of Batangas Earth and Fire Festival 2016 that they organized in the town of Balete. As part of the event, Lima Park Hotel treated all the locals with a very insightful and free tour along Taal Lake with their "Lady of the Lake" boat cruise.
I have tried cruising along Taal Lake few years ago during our Taal Volcano hike in 2012. But this is my first time to cruise in it from the town of Balete. So when Lima Park Hotel told us that we will be cruising along Taal Lake, I got so excited!
The "Lady of the Lake" is Lima Park Hotel's brand new boat that can carry up to 30 people (boat crew included). This boat was built primarily to tour guests around the scenic and majestic Taal Lake as part of Lima Park Hotel's tour packages.
The lake tour will treat every guest with breathtaking views of the lake, surrounding mountains and hills, as well as a chance to see some migratory birds. What I like most about the lake tour (aside from the lovely view) is how the boat crew follow safety protocols by ensuring that the boat only carries the right number of passengers and that all guests wear life jackets. Also, there is a dedicated tour guide that explains and gives insightful information about the lake, the volcano and what you see around.
Cruising around Taal Lake was truly a "one-of-kind" experience. It is not just fun, but very educational. "Lady of the Lake" boat cruise is an ideal tour for everyone! Don't miss it when visiting Batangas!
