Staying in a boutique hotel always excites me. The warm, welcoming feeling and personalized service offered by boutique hotels are just some of the qualities I always look forward to. That is why, I am so happy and got very very excited when my friend invited me to a "Makati Weekend Staycation" in one of Makati City's best boutique hotels - The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences.
Located at the heart of Makati Central Business District, The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences (Check Discounted Rates Online) is just a few minutes walk to the city's commercial and business establishments. It is also just 7.2 kms. away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport and about 10 km from downtown Manila - making it an ideal place to stay whether for business or leisure travels in Makati City.
Upon arrival at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences, we were warmly welcomed by their pleasant and lovely hotel staff and greeted us with warm smiles. Since we already have prior reservation, checking-in was a breeze. It only took about 5 minutes to check-in and we were given our room's electronic key cards.
Chic and stylish, our Malaga/Madrid Studio Room (Check Rates Online) showcases lovely interiors blended with modern amenities and facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The room feels airy and very comfortable because of its size and minimalist interiors. It is highlighted with a huge queen-sized bed and has an en suite toilet and bath, a mini kitchen, working and sitting areas and a balcony overlooking the city. I am definitely impressed and happy with the amenities and facilities equipped inside our room.
The queen-sized bed is coupled with plush linens, high-quality comforters and fluffy pillows. I quickly tried it and my back loved it! It is so comfortable!
Complete with all the much-needed amenities to make every guest's stay as comfortable as it can ever be, our studio room is equipped with high-definition flat screen television set with cable channels, a telephone, an alarm clock, a lovely work desk, an en suite toilet and bath, a mini bar with a refrigerator filled with drinks and complimentary bottled water and a kitchenette with microwave oven and cooking equipment. There's also a coffee/tea making equipment which I really like.
As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was also impressed at how organized and clean it is. It has a separate toilet and walk-in shower area with hot and cold rain shower features. There's also a clean water closet with bidet spray, clothes hanging area, a lavatory with huge mirror and a hair dryer.
Clean and fluffy bath and hand towels as well as quality toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, body wash, body lotion, vanity and dental care kits were also provided. This is indeed an haven for those who spend a lot of time in the bathroom.
Free WIFI internet connection is also available anywhere in the hotel! Yey! For someone like me who loves to be always connected to the internet, this is so awesome!
With these lovely amenities and facilities, guests will surely have a comfortable stay at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences that they'll surely end up just staying inside the room. It's also makes an awesome place to stay if you want to have a staycation with friends or for a much-needed family bonding.
During our stay, we had a movie night in one of their function rooms. It was supposed to be held at the hotel's roof deck cinema but due to the "no-so-good" weather condition that night, it was transferred to the function room. Free movie nights are held every Friday and Saturday night until June 30, 2016.

The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences' in-house restaurant is located at the hotel's ground floor near the lobby. PABLO is a casual dining restaurant that offers a wide array of classic European-inspired Bistro cuisines. The buffet breakfast that comes with every booking at the hotel is served at the restaurant from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The buffet table has limited but carefully selected dishes. Also included in the complimentary breakfast is a menu of al carte meals where you could order your choice of set breakfast meal.

Overall, we had an awesome and remarkable weekend staycation at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. The rooms are well-appointed, classy, clean and very organized.
