With its pristine, white sandy beaches, lively party vibe, stunning sunset and endless list of exciting activities to do, Boracay Island is definitely one destination in the Philippines that is worth visiting anytime of the year. I, myself have been to Boracay several times in the past and I keep coming back again and again.

What keeps me coming back to Boracay are its lovely hotels and resorts. One of them is Henann Regency Resort and Spa (Click here to check rates online). This beachside luxury hotel and resort in Boracay will give you a curious combination of having truly gotten away from it all with its amazing amenities and yet the island nightlife is just a quick sojourn away. It's the best of both worlds, I must say.

Just last month, we were back in Boracay to experience Henann Regency Resort and Spa for the 2nd time. We flew from Manila via Cebu Pacific Air's A320 aircraft which features Henann Regency's livery ad. This new livery aircraft aims to promote not just Henann Regency Resort and Spa but as well as to promote Boracay island as one of the top holiday destinations in the Philippines via Cebu Pacific's 66 local and international destinations.

Upon arrival at the resort, we were warmly welcomed by their very pleasant and lovely staff and offered us with cold towels and welcome drinks. It's a refreshing treat after several hours of travel from Manila to Boracay island.

Premier Room

After checking-in, we were ushered to our room for a much-needed rest. Our Premier Room is a perfect haven for a pair or trio. The room is set in hues of blue and earth tone colors that perfectly complement the resort's island feel. It is professionally-designed with blends of modern decors and features a full-length glass window with sliding doors leading to a private veranda with outdoor dinette set. The veranda has a gorgeous view of the resort that will surely be a delight to every guest.

Our room is highlighted with one queen and one single-size bed complemented with clean white sheets, 300-thread count duvets and very soft and super fluffy pillows. I quickly tried it and I felt like I was melting into the bed. Woohoo! Very comfortable!

Considered to be the largest of Henann Regency's non-suite room at 42 sq meters, every guest could relax in a spacious, functionally maximized Premier Room with well-organized furniture and room amenities.

This includes individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, a luxurious en suite toilet and bath, a small living area, and a flat-screen 40-inch television set with cable channels. It is also equipped with a luggage rack, cabinet with safety deposit box and hanging area, telephones with IDD and NDD access inside the room and in the bathroom, a personal refrigerator with complimentary drinking water replenished daily and a coffee and tea making facility.

And oh, we were also provided with a welcome fruit platter and chocolates! We loved it!

Toilet and Bath

As I checked on the toilet and bath, I was at awe when I saw how spacious and clean it is. It is a lavish marble-clad bathroom with a separate bathtub and an enclosed shower area with hot & cold rain shower feature. There's a lavatory with huge mirror, clean and sanitized water closet with bidet spray, clothes and towel hanging area, hair dryer and all the toiletries were provided.

I love Henann Regency's high-quality toiletries which include bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, bath foam, body lotion, shaving kit, vanity and dental care kits. Slippers, fresh and soft body and hand towels as well as bathrobes were also provided. What else can I ask for? It's so impressive!

Swimming Pool

The resort's magnificent centerpiece is their expansive swimming pool. Located right at the center of the property, unwinding is made easy with Henann Regency's immense pool with lounges, day beds and a pool bar. It is a perfect place to relax and hangout all day with your family and friends.

World-famous Boracay Beach

Being a beachfront property right at the heart of Station 2, the world-famous white sand beach of Boracay is just a few steps away from the resort.

Lounge by the comfy day beds, bask in the powdery sand, or go paddle-boarding, Paraw sailing, helmet diving, parasailing and so much more. In Boracay, your choices for an exiting and memorable getaway are endless!

Restaurants and Bars

Henann Regency Boracay Resort and Spa has several dining outlets featuring both international and local cuisines. The best part is, they are located at the beachfront which offers a gorgeous seaside view or stunning sunset to complement your every meal.

We got to try it and we were really satisfied with their massage service.

Kai Spa is really gorgeous. It has lockers, sauna, steam and whirlpool bath that every guest will surely enjoy. Their massage therapists are polite, well-trained and go beyond an extra mile in providing excellent service to their clients.
